This was my first stay at a b&b, and I had quite a lovely experience. My girlfriend and I went there for Easter Weekend, and stayed in the summer room. Lynn, the caretaker, was very lively, informative, sweet, and accommodating. She was a fantastic cook, let us choose what time we wanted breakfast, and made sure we had gotten plenty of food. For just a little bit more money than a musty hotel room, you can stay at a beautiful 150 year old home, make some new friends, eat delicious food, and rest in royal comfort.

All the comforts of home, gracious hospitality, and the best night’s sleep. My favorite guest room is the Summer Room, so inviting and warm! Lyn has done a fantastic job restoring this home to it’s earlier glory. Beautiful hardwood and lovely antiques throughout the home. How can one resist curling up with a good book in front of the fireplace in the library?
Unless you need access to a pool, why stay at the main motel when in Dixon? The beauty and comfort of Crawford Inn are well worth the additional $ 10 – 25 you’ll pay compared to the Comfort Inn.
