I’ve passed this place one my way to and from work for the past 5 days(the number of days the employee told me they have been open). I decided to stop in to find out about it. He told me that his mother hand makes all of the pastries, and I assume they make everything else as it all looked authentic and fresh. I got two empanadas(total $ 2.50). I told him that if is was good, I’d be back for the fresh breakfast pastries. He then mentioned the $ 1 coffee. I got home, reheated the empanadas, and they were delicious! Maybe a little bit oily, but truly tasty. This will easily become a regular place for me.

Though it has only been open for about a week or so, it has charmed the neighborhood. It offers a great alternative, and it is something the area was lacking. Empanadas are highly recommended. Their pastries are also very fresh, and I love the idea of the self-serve coffee. No more worrying about how much milk or sugar your server might put. Now it is in your own hands. Extra plus: The employees are all very nice and make you feel welcome to come again :)
