Unfortunately, I need to update my previous review. Stacy has proven herself to be very unstable. She has abruptly left two salons in the six months that I went to her (January through July). In both instances, she canceled my appointment when it was only two days away. Both times she blamed the move on new owners unwilling to honor the amount of rent she was paying the previous owner. I guess that could be true but after awhile, the reason for the move hardly matters; it’s just the drama of finding the new place (each father away from me than the previous place) and rescheduling until she gets settled, etc. One time in between salons, she came to my apartment to do my hair in my kitchen. Now she’s just planning on working out of her house in Discovery Bay. Time for me to find a new stylist.

I get my hair highlighted every six weeks and Stacy is the best! The color is always spot on and blended perfectly. She keeps my hair healthy and trims it perfect. She listens to my requests and does what I ask, unlike some stylist who do what they want. I’m always a happy client. I’ve never had a communication issue with her ever!

Stacy is a fun amazing woman and is one of the only people that can deal with my hair. I like to color it and try new styles, but my hair is very thin and fine and doesn’t like to take cuts or color — it splits easy and color fades fast. Stacy always knows just what to do to make my hair look the way I want it!
Stacy has also done my hair and makeup for weddings (mine and my friend’s) and for photo and video shoots. She is amazing!!!
I would definitely recommend her for your new stylist, and if you need someone to do makeup and hair for a special occasion. She Rocks!!!

I booked a service with Stacy via Groupon. 2 hours before my appointment she texts me that she has to cancel. I waited to see if she would call to reschedule because that’s what she said via text and she never did. Very poor communication skills. I wish that I could have gotten the services because it looks like the other Unilocal reviews were great. Very disappointed and will not recommend.

I’ve been going to stacy for years, and she has always done a fabulous job on my blond hair. My highlights are beautiful. She has never made me orange. My hair has gotten so healthy and full from stacy and her help. I love her so much and can’t thank her enough. She also cuts my 6yr old daughters curly blond hair. I was donating my hair and although it would seem to be a quick process, I was thankful that Stacy still took her time with my cut and styled it terrifically.
