This is the nicest little place I’ve ever been. It is a throwback to the 1920’s and 30’s. They have period hats scattered all around the restaurant that the patrons wear for fun. The food is all made on-site.I’ve only eaten the finger foods(tea sandwiches, scones and torts), but they were the best I’ve ever had. They serve numerous«themed teas» as well. I haven’t been for dinner, but they usually have a pretty good group of people, so I would imagine that it is as pleasurable of an experience as lunch. Their website says that they have a buffet for dinner. The staff there is very pleasant. The restaurant is family owned and it shows. My wife and I had our wedding reception there and can’t say enough about the Miss Mable’s. Their schedule is kind of strange, so I would recommend checking out their website or calling before the drive out to Dickson. The atmosphere is very quiet and pleasant(for lack of a better term). I wouldn’t recommend wearing shorts and a t-shirt…but then again not too dressy either.
