Service department was dismissive and condescending at best. I went in looking for a clutch replacement for the D15 in my 92 sedan. Pretty straight forward. Cash in hand do it as soon as possible was my attitude.
After quoting me 4.8−5.2 hours at ~$ 100/​hr the gentleman at the desk then stopped. He seemed uninterested in continuing my quote as far as parts, stating he wanted his mechanics to drive it and determine what it needs. I wanted a pressure plate, flywheel replace/​resurface, release and pilot bearing and possibly a rear main seal when they were in there. Straight forward enough?
The moral of this review is that some of your customers aren’t helpless half wits. Act accordingly.
