Derive is always good and this is my cheat day go to. Unlike some reviews, I’ve never had an issue. Very clean place too!

I’m visiting my friend in Diamonds bar city. I really want trying some ice shave and mango smoothie. The price was expensive ! It over charged, I trying it… yuk, it very so bad. I feeling so bad for my kids. He didn’t like it at all ., I rather to go to McDonald get their milk skake is better next time. Plus when I got home, My stomach hurt so bad from this mango drink. I think the milk might be expire or keep out of temperature. I have the worst experience from try those drink. I wish Unilocal have Zero star for this place.

AWESOME that the chill spot is so close to home because Acai bowls and Hawaiian shaved ice are OH so refreshing! not the best acai bowls i’ve had but pretty standard. they come in small or large —Aloha bowl with almond milk: i liked this almond milk based bowl much more than the apple juice based Acai Sunrise! if you’re a fan of mango & goji berries this is the bowl for you —Acai sunrise: i wonder if you can substitute the apple juice for almond or soy milk because i think the juice gave it a funny taste i’ll have to come back to try the shaved ice, smoothies, and chili mangos! NOTE: 10% off with Unilocal check-in

This place serves the best acai bowl in the area. In fact, I think it’s the best acai bowl overall. I’m addicted to their Reese’s Acai and their portions are more than generous.

açai bowls make my butt quiver in excitement… i love feeling like I’m eating healthy when my entire diet is actual trash lol my boyfriend lives in diamond bar and we hang out every week, and the week before I saw him again I’ve been eating an açai bowl every day, and I told him I HAD to have one. it took a little convincing, but when I told him açai bowls have granola, he was immediately sold. so we come here and it took us a while to find it, mainly because I never been here and my boyfriend hasn’t either, but by the time we found it everything went smoothly. we ordered the aloha surprise(if I remember correctly) and it was really… really good… and that’s maybe because I just really like açai bowls? the large was decently priced for its size. I was indeed a fan. the only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the fact that it takes a while to make, but hey, you can’t rush perfection! I’ll be coming back…

The chill mango taste so good it has me coming back. Service is great. The people that work here are awesome. Best place to grab a cold bite to eat either for lunch or desert After having the chill mango the night before I decided to try the Aloha acai bowl. I had acai bowls in the past but this one has to be one of the best. The owner takes a lot of pride in his craft and makes it to perfection. The aloha acai bowl is strongly recommended. I will be coming back for some more

Came to try their chill mango drink. Got it with everything and added a tamarind straw for an additional $ 1. 3 chili mangos came out to $ 19.50. Pretty steep if you ask me. The drink was ok but I didn’t like how some mango cubes were firm and others were mushy. I liked the pico powder and tanjin, added just enough spice. I’m not sure if it’s the sherbet that’s icy or if there’s crushed ice in it but I didn’t like biting down on the small bits of ice. Service was nice and they have a reward punch card.

Overview Great desserts for any time of the day! Food isn’t too sweet, and they offer lactose free options! Pros — Food ISNOT sweet, which is a huge plus for me! Most shaved ice and Acai bowl spots are usually a bit too sweet for my liking. — They use soy milk and almond milk rather then milk which is another huge plus for me because I’m lactose intolerant! — Staff is friendly, got to speak to owner. He seemed to be a nice guy! — Must get their aloha acai bowl! It’s the right amount of fruits, yogurt, and granola! Most places flood their acai bowls with granola to give the food flavor but not here! — Clean tables, which are always lacking in froyo-shaved ice spots! — Owner told me they plan on adding more options to their menu, meaning to say that the owner actually cares about the customers coming in and out and is being mindful of them! Cons — Food is a bit on the pricey end, but other then the price I love their desserts it’s worth the money! Personal Thoughts Desserts aren’t too sweet which makes this place a huge plus for me! But their price is high which is a bit unfortunate. If it wasn’t for the price I would probably give them place 5 stars! ***UPDATE*** They lowered their prices! With great food and a manageable price, this place now deserves 5 stars!

Have been wanting to try this place since they opened a few months back. What drove me in was that they had a sign that they have Açaí bowls! I’ve always wanted to try one and let me tell you I was not disappointed! So yummy! I was not too happy about the price($ 7) but gotta treat myself every once in a while. I believe I got the sunrise bowl. I plan to go again and try their chamango stay tuned for that review

This is such an awesome place!!! Great fresh fruit bowls, shaved ice with LOTS of flavors and toppings and ice cream too! Diamond Bar does not have a lot cool places to kick back and have a quality treat but now they do. This is a must go to spot whether you live in Diamond Bar or not. It’s also freeway close and easy to get off the freeway then easy to get back on. They’re now opening at 8AM with great coffee, bagels, muffins etc. I’ve added this place as my morning coffee spot for after I drop the kids off at school. TRYIT you’ll LIKEIT!

Nailed it! This place has amazing chill deserts and like its namesake is The Chill Spot. I had the Aloha bowl and it was so very tasty. It really has a great balance of tart and sweet. From the fruit and berry selection, to the added honey, granola and seeds, the taste is so satisfying without bloating you up like other deserts. Good job guys!

I keep coming back for the açai bowls. I’ve tried both flavors and like the Açai Sunrise just a tiny bit better than Pineapple Express. The consistency of the açai blend is smooth(not grainy like some other places), fruit is always fresh and the coconut flakes add an extra dash of flavor. The owners are polite and accommodating. The space is clean and colorful. Nice to have a TV to watch if you want or you can sit on the patio and watch the boulevard. Remember this is the«Chill Spot», do don’t come here expecting to zip in and out. Take advantage of the moment to chill for a minute.

I got the Acai bowl here. For the price, the bowl is actually pretty big. I did think it was a little too sweet — they might have mixed in some honey along with the apple juce so while it’s tangy, it was still sweet. Even so, this is still a good place in DB to get acai bowls. I typically go all the way to West Covina to get them but now I can save gas and money by coming here!

I come here… A lot. Lol. I’m glad an acai place opened up really close to my boyfriend’s place. We used to trek to Chino Hills to get acai/pitaya bowls, then to The Village in Walnut, but this one is literally up the street from the house. We could walk if we wanted to! I usually order their Acai Sunrise($ 8.50 /large) with no bee pollen and it’s delicious as always. The owner/manager of this place is so friendly and just great to his patrons. Always makes sure that everyone likes what they order. The food might take a little longer only because he puts a lot of effort and heart into what he makes. The bowls we get at the end always has beautiful presentation as well as flavor. Another great thing is that they open much later than most bowl places! :)

After phở I wanted something sweet but not super fatty. I remembered that The Chill Spot had just opened next door so I stopped by. I tried the pinapple, cherry, Bahama mama ice with strawberry ice cream and condensed milk. Mmmmm this hit the spot! Cant wait to go back to try the acai bowls.

Okay, finally an authentic shaved ice location in the city of Diamond Bar ! All the Hawaiian favors along with mochi and red bean toppings ! The acai bowls are really good too ! They also served bagels and coffee so I will have to come in early one morning for breakfast
