I got my windows tinted today. They looked great! I can see and feel the difference like night and day. My house feels a lot cooler now. Jose, the installer, was really nice and quick at doing his job. Mary who is the owner was really helpful as well. They give us a 2-​day notice before the scheduled time to remind us for the appointment, which is very helpful. Thank you for the job well done! I highly recommend this company.

Sol Cal Window Tinting, Inc did a wonderful job tinting 52 windows in my home. Mary was outstanding to work with as were the installers. For 14 years I rarely opened my wood blinds — I have not closed them since the installation. My house has stayed cool with a minimum of air running in 90+ degree weather. We are extremely happy!

I have been using the same window tint guy on my house and cars for twenty (?) years but when I wanted him to quote double glazed french windows, he went sort of cold on me. I got four internet quotes with accurate photos and measurements. This company was $ 200 more than the cheapest and 200 or 300 less than the most expensive, but what snagged me was that Mary (who must be an owner) was back to me in a flash asking me what I needed and pointed out questions that I didn’t know to ask. (I had been researching tint films and ratings). They sent out samples. A dozen emails back and forth in a flash. I would expect this level of service if I was getting a whole office building done. Her crew was late to the job (if you call 7 minutes late). They called to advise en route. The crew was polite, effective and got the job done very quickly. With about 84 panes to complete, I found one scrap of film that fell on the sidewalk after their clean-up.That’s it I am all about shopping for the best price, but this gal made a few extra shekels (again $ 200 more that the low $ 700 bid)
As far as the tint. I was looking for heat reduction, Mary thought what I wanted might be too dark, but it turned out I was right.

I was delighted with the professionalism of Sol Cal Window Tinting from the first contact over the phone through the installation. I received the samples in the mail within two days and the installation was scheduled within two days of calling to place the order. The installers arrived on time and were very professional, clean, and worked very efficiently to remove old film on five windows and install new tinting.
I would recommend them to anyone.

What a difference some window tinting makes! Installation was quick, easy, on time and reasonably priced. Highly recommend as it seems to be keeping the room cooler, longer. I love it!
