Questions were answered promptly and accurately. Very friendly attitude. It is obvious that customer service is important here. Sharon C.

You guys just don’t understand… Thrifty’s ice cream is one of my favorites. I don’t know if it’s actually that good, but I grew up eating it, and you can’t get it anywhere else but at a Rite-Aid that carries it. The Rite-Aid near where I live now doesn’t have it anymore(THETRAVESTY!), so I can only get it when I go home to visit my parents(they love that). Favorite flavors: Rainbow Sherbert, Mint n Chip, Black Cherry. They don’t have a specific person scooping ice cream, you’ll have to have a cashier do it for you, so depending on how busy it is, you’ll have to wait a bit to get the ice cream. It’s best to get the ice cream and then pay for it, so you can munch on it while you’re in line. :D … I miss it already…

Thrifty Ice Cream! This is one of the few Rite Aid/Thrifty Ice Cream in the area that has circus animal cookies flavored ice cream. If you haven’t tried this flavor you should really treat yourself to it! The only downside is that the customer service is really spotty. Sometimes the scoops would be proportionate but sometimes it would just be plain tiny! I really wish they were more consistent. I’ve noticed this being a problem at almost all Thrifty locations though. Plenty of parking in the spacious parking lot. H-Mart customers sometimes park around Rite Aid but always a lot of spots available. There are also other shops in this shopping center to checkout. Overall 3.5÷5

I came in today to get some pictures instantly printed. I noticed that it was an old store and the printer looked a little dated but I proceeded to print my pictures anyway. When they came out a couple of them were auto cropped and our heads were cut off. Plus every picture there had lines coming up and down vertically on the picture. They were bad but kind of saveable so I talked to the manager by the name of Alice and asked her if there was any way that she could fix the pictures. She said there wasn’t anything that she can do and so I asked her if she can give me a discount on the prints. I suggested 50% off because of the quality. She flatly said no and took the pictures out of my hand and said that she had to take them back if I didn’t want them. I felt disrespected. As a big fan of Rite Aid it’s hard for me to say I’ll never come in the store again but I will never do business with Alice again. Felt that she didn’t have much customer service skills and shouldn’t be in a leadership position with that type of attitude. As a matter of fact I felt so much better when the cashier, she was a new girl, told me that she was going to do everything she can to fix it and then I got out. Shaking my head

Went the following day(early enough) to pickup my medications. While I was waiting there was a neighbor complaining about having to go there 4 times but still could not get her medicine. When I got to the counter I was advised that one repeat had to be fulfilled again. I give then one extra star this time, because they did call me when all was ready. When I went to pick up(around 2:45pm), the Pharmacy was closed for lunch break. So went again at 5:00pm and finally got what I needed. All I can say is thank God I didn’t have to go a 4th or 5th time!!!

Who can ever say no to Thrifty Ice Cream? It so good but. However, the customer service is definitely not as great. There is only one cashier in the front, so I waited almost ten minutes for an ice cream.

+1 star for the memories and icecream. Good place to go for all your party supplies. Also a good place to buy a lot of candies and convenient for your pharmaceutical needs. This is always a good spot to leave before going to the beach(sunblock, beer, ice chest, and snacks).

Came here tonight after running errands and dinner around the area. We drove by and saw people coming out with ice-cream cones. I immediately looked at my bf and he made a sharp turn to a parking spot! My 2 scoops didn’t look like the ones in the picture on Unilocal,it was a bit sloppy BUT very huge scoops. It’s like doubled the size as Baskin Robbin’s! I got my favorite Choco Chip + Cookie Dough and the bf chose Pecan Praline. All that fun for only $ 2.49. I wanted to take a picture but my hand had a mind of its own and I didn’t even bother to check in. It is very creamy and«old fashioned». I wish there were more«toppings» inside the ice cream but for the price, it didn’t bother me. This Rite Aid appears to be very clean and organized. Not much people around late at night. Definitely will keep in mind if I need to pick up something at the after hour. I believe they close at 10pm.

My review is for thrifty ice cream. I ordered 2 single scoops, but the cashier accidentally made us pay for 2 double scoops. Nevertheless, since I love ice cream, I thought, why not?(because it’s unhealthy, you’ll get sick, and fat) But all those thoughts aside, we got: a single scoop of mint choc chip(my favorite) on a cone, a single scoop of pecan praline on a cone, double scoop of featured flavor and butter pecan in a large cup. MAN, THEIRSCOOPSAREGINORMOUS. my mint choc chip was like an average 2 scoop portion. and the double scoops in the tub was like buying a quarter tub of ice cream! as for the flavor, thrifty is known for their yummy ice cream. i recommend mint choc and butter pecan. the mint flavor was subtle and not too overpowering, while the chocolate pieces were shredded, so it was nicer to melt. featured flavor, not so much. i want to try their pistachio flavor. ever since baskin robbins went out of business right next to cherry on top, this has been the place to get my ice cream fix. sometimes, you just don’t feel like frozen yogurt, and crave something creamy and delicious.

Review is solely for the Thrifty’s ice cream they sell. There’s simply nothing like Thrifty’s Pistachio Ice Cream on a hot day. Just make sure you try to go when there are no customers shopping, the cashiers are the same individuals(actually individual, I’ve rarely seen more than one person working them) that scoop your ice cream. If it looks like it’ll take you a while to go through the ice cream line, there are fridges stocked with gallons of ice cream of your favorite flavor that you can simply buy. Your purchase will take priority over the ice cream as it will be a rare sale.

Stopped in for old fashion, great tasting Thrifty ice-cream. Growing up, every time we shopped at the Thrifty’s on Vermont & Sunset in LA, my parents would buy me a scoop of ice cream on a cone, not a cup. We’d stand outside and I slowly enjoyed my treat. Wanting to savor the moment and hoping to make the ice cream last longer, I’d take my time finishing it. Of course, it would melt faster than I could eat it and always dripped down my hand and arm; never failed. That’s why my dad was patient enough wait out front and let me have my ice cream, on the sidewalk and not in the car. Ahhhh, childhood memories.

This Rite Aid is the best place to shop if you love waiting in line. I always get entertained while waiting for the cashier to show up. It seems like the cashiers are always hiding because they also know when to come down from their fort. While you’re waiting, you can look at the security mirror and check out if anybody is shoplifting. To keep them in business, they want their customers to rat those shoplifters out. It seems like they don’t make profit here, but they increase their price compared to other drug stores so their profit margin is there. Pharmacist at this location is highly educated and has excellent customer service. Their services are usually fast and friendly… If you also need Western Union, then this is the place.

What can I say, it’s a Rite-Aid. Everything is good, at this location… feels sorta like you’re stuck in a time warp there though — they even remodeled a few years back, but it still looks the same. Normally no wait to check out, they typically have everything in stock. This location is pretty dead, most of the time the pharmacy will need to order your Rx if it’s not a commonly prescribed med.
