Although the name says it’s a hotel, the Limerick Hotel is actually a restaurant, and a great one at that! When you first walk through the entrance you end up in the bar area. To get to the dining area you have to take a right and walk through a short hallway. The owners are very friendly and will come out to take your order. The food is fantastic — mostly Italian food made by a woman who came to the U.S. years ago from Italy. You can make a salad at the salad bar before your meal comes out, and you are given fresh homemade rolls that are delicious. Portions are generous and I’d say the prices are reasonable for what you get. Be aware that they only accept cash, so stop at the ATM before you go. I’d definitely recommend stopping in for a bite to eat.
