Awesome learning for the kids some of the women were a little frustrated and rude with the kids but I guess they can be expected out of a kinder class all in all great. They had some really cute dogs that followed us around from place to place defiantly a place to go on field trip

Fun little place to take your kids if you have small children or Tweens. I had fun feeding all the goats and chickens. The little pigs were so darling as well! Super cute! Don’t expect anything fancy as far as menu items go but if you are spending the day here you have a couple of lunch menu items to choose from. Nothing vegan or whatnot like I’m spoiled by but on this particular day I went with the cheese sandwich option since I’m vegetarian and got my son the all beef hot dog and chips. Most of mine went to the chickens lol. Shhh! They offer a educational tour for the kiddos which is why we were there, we had gone for a homeschool event. Kids learn about pumpkins, growing a X-mas tree farm and go for a hayride. Of course my favorite part was the animals though and they seemed happy well fed and well taken care of. Enjoy!

I came here today with my mom and 2.5 yr old daughter and had a great time. Tons of activities for kids. There is a package you can get which will save some money as some of the activities you have to pay for in addition to the admission. However, since my child is so I young with a short attention span I figured we would pay as we go because she may not want to be able to do all the activities, and it worked out well for us. Definitely recommend this place

Went last year for Halloween it was fun, they had animals to feed, painting, tractor riding, food, areas to play, it was fun! My son had a lot of fun. The drive up there was well worth it by our way back my son was so tired he went to sleep. Good parking, nice people. Definitely don’t bring anything you don’t need carrying a purse around gets tiring. Leave at home my suggestion. And bring cash, some things are easier if paid with cash.

I had heard it for years being from the area, that you couldn’t beat the experience at Devine Acres Farm. Boy, were they right. Last Saturday, I loaded my family and extended family into two SUV’s and made the drive for the Christmas season’s opening weekend. When I walked up, I couldn’t believe anymore that I was in Texas. Rows and rows of Christmas trees, and the smell was just pure bliss I immediately went inside their Mason Jar Store and purchased adorable snowman plastic cups with a hat lid and straws for the children. They came filled with apple juice and were only $ 3.25 a piece. I myself had a cup of hot chocolate at my favorite price of $ 1, and they offered coffee for the same amount. The entire store smelt like the delicious cinnamon roasted pecans they had warming nearby. Add that to the Christmas music being played, and I was ready for trees and smores. After walking through row after row of trees, we FINALLY agreed on one, chopped it down ourselves, and jumped on the hayride to take our tree to the front. They measured it for us, and at $ 8 a foot it was more than I typically pay each year for my tree, but was definitely worth the experience. After packing up our tree for us, we went on to make smores, play mini golf, climb on the«spider web», go on a hayride, race rubber ducks, play Frisbee golf(sort of), and run mazes(all for free mind you) before my wee toddlers ran out of gas. I did purchase a «smore pack» in their general store to use at the campfire, so that part wasn’t included. I paid $ 5 and it made 4 smores, and the kids weren’t the only ones to enjoy that ;) When it was all said and done, no one actually WANTED to leave. But it was back to the real world we went… I highly recommend doing just as I did, packing up the family and heading out. But don’t forget your camera like I did, otherwise you will surely regret not getting these memories on film. Oh well, looks like I’ll have to go back next weekend and do it alllll over again… you know, just for the pictures. ;)

Its always amusing to read peoples reviews who also take advantage of groupons and deals similar. My best friend and I are always quick to find a patch to take seasonal pictures every year and jumped on the one we found for DAF. It was quite a drive from our neck of the woods, but well worth it. the pumpkin selection was perfect for our under 5 children and there was tons of things for them to do. They enjoyed the duck water troughs and animals. I wasn’t too impressed with the hay rides as it was basically very slow and very informative. I definitely saw a lot of Christmas trees and can’t blame them from multitasking their seasonal offers. Pretty much took advantage of half of the farm, maybe next year we can take advantage of the other half.

I research everything. I over research. I drive people crazy with the amount of research I do before every little endeavor. In my searching, I found this hidden little farm with a pumpkin patch. We’d gone to the one at the Helotes Fairgrounds the previous weekend, and it was HORRIBLE. Everything — EVERYTHING — was extra — most things $ 2-$ 3 each. Toss a couple of kids in there and it adds up quickly. Anyway, the Devine Acres Farm costs $ 8 to get in. For that, you get(unlimited) hayrides, a fishing pole to use at their stocked pond, mazes for the kids & adults, tricycle races, duck races, scarecrow dressing, playground, bouncy balls and time with your family out of the city. There are extras — for $ 1 you can feed the goats, chickens and occasional dog. For $ 2 your kids can ride a «train»(barrel train). Water balloons are 5 for $ 1, and there is a pit to roast marshmallows over(don’t know how much for the marshmallows). Of course, there’s face painting, pumpkin painting and all the other«usual» stuff. We loved this place. We’re going back at Christmas and again next year. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but worth it.

Very nice place! Just went here yesterday after buying a groupon which was«buy one admission get one free» and I think $ 8 for everything you get is EXTREMELY reasonable. There is loads to do and your kids will love it. My son is 17 months so couldn’t do a lot of these things but my boyfriend and I were talking about how we would make this a yearly tradition coming here for Halloween. There’s loads of games and it’s so spread out, even though it’s extremely busy you don’t realize how busy it is. The staff genuinely cares about the farm which is nice because you can tell they love what they do. I’m so happy that we came here and tried it out, you will be too!

Great Family fun with lots to do! The staff is super friendly and the covered eating area is very nice. I like that you can take in your own food. Lots of fun to be had and plenty of photo ops.

I purchased tickets for the family on Groupon, minus our 18 month old, since he is free! We had such a wonderful time. My 18 month old loved the playground and the petting zoo and my 7 year old step daughter loved the fishing pond and roping station! Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful, despite them being busy. They also have a cut your own Christmas tree during the Holidays, and an event called Pancakes with Santa! We can’t wait to go back and have more fun!

I found this place off of groupon, advertised as a pumpkin patch. Wanting to get into the fall spirit, I bought two, one for me and my husband. We invited friends of ours and their kids to go with us. We had SO. MUCH. FUN!!! For $ 8(regular full price) you get: hayrides catch & release fishing dress the scare crow potato sack racing bean bag toss mazes lots of playgrounds horseshoes For a few bucks extra you can buy: face painting food pumpkins marshmallows for roasting Anyway, great fun for kids, and goofy adults. We spent nearly 3.5 hours there and could have spent more but they were closing up for the day. If you have kids, this is a must-see. Oh, and they do cut your own tree at Christmas time too! Can’t wait to go back!
