Fish Express

Hands down the best chicken wings I have ever had! Every time I am in the area I plan to stop and get some of these wings.

I must say, judging by the previous review, Fish Express has been in this location at least a year. As much as I frequent the CVS across the street from it, I never noticed it until recently. I decided to try it after receiving a menu on my front porch, and that day, I had a taste for fried catfish.
So, I ordered the Catfish and Chicken Tenders dinner. The first thing about the dinner I noticed was the portion size. For the price ($ 8.59), I expected to receive far less food than I did. It came with two rather sizable catfish fillets, two crispy, deep-​fried chicken tenders, a nice helping of seasoned fries, and a small side of coleslaw. I could barely finish the meal! Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted great. My mother had the ribs, and she felt there was room for improvement, however.
Now, as far as the establishment goes, it is rather small and easy to miss if you are not looking for it. However, it is conveniently located in a shopping plaza. Parking in front of this restaurant can be a bit challenging due to the fact that it is almost next door to a grocery store. Also, they did not quite have my order ready in the time it was promised, so a little patience would also help. They also have a pizza menu, and I would like to try their pizza one day. Other than that, I must say I had a decent experience.

Technically I’m not a «Yay! I’m a fan. More like, «Cool, I can work with this.» My mother swears by this place. She loves the chicken and shrimp dinner she gets from this carry out place. I will admit that the french fries are great and so was the chicken when I had it. Perfectly seasoned! That’s wat’s up! The portion sizes as well as the sizes of meat and fish you get are really large.
My only grip about this place is that they are slooooowwwwww. All the food is made to order so I can understand that. But when I can see my order sitting on the counter and it still takes me five minutes to get it and pay for it; that’s a problem. I recommend getting a combo, it’s the same as a serving of meat so you might as well get your money’s worth. And please by all means order ahead of time.
