Full disclosure: I was friendly with a former editor of this newspaper, so I’m biased.
However, I think this newspaper, which comes out twice a week, does a nice job with local community news, including covering the thriving Middle Eastern subculture in Dearborn. I’m not sure they’re still doing it, but the last time I checked, the paper did a special business section in conjunction with the American Arab Chamber of Commerce on a regular basis, for instance.
The paper is attractive, with a well-​designed front page. And, of course, most importantly, the news is well-​written and relevant to the residents of Dearborn and Dearborn Heights.
