Standard American chain-restaurant type place; way overpriced since it’s located in the terminal of Detroit Metro Airport. I struggle to rate this one… Somewhere between a two and a three. Overall the experience was«meh» rather than«argh/yuck» so I rounded up to a three. Pluses: service was good. Lots of tvs so if you need to kill some time and want to watch sports, this could be the place for you.(The airport intercom system can’t be heard inside though, so make sure you know when you need to board your flight!) My veggie burger was adequate. Not amazing. Son was happy with his burger(and his ability to watch the game). Bill for our two meals, one glass of wine and tip = $ 40. I would have been happier just getting an overpriced Chobani at one of the magazine-stand places and saving the $$.

So the bartender(Kimberly) was awesome and the the food was good but I was served with PLASTICSILVERWARE! Like what the fuck is that? If I pay $ 14 for a salad is like to eat with REAL silverware like a grown up. Management get it together and take care of your customers

$ 15 for a fucking small drink is ridiculous. You should be ashamed. Service was terrible. Bartender didn’t smile one and chomped her gum the entire time.

We waited an hour without receiving our sandwich… We left. The woman sitting next to us said it was her second time there… same slow service. Who knows how the food is. Detroit Metro airport a little lacking in food services for the North Terminal.

This is in the old terminal at Metro. Server was attentive and efficient, and was very friendly throughout our meal. Was quick to get drink refills and was helpful when asked questions. My only complaint is the way the seating is set up– there is not a lot of room between tables– lots of 2-tops stacked next to each other in a row. You factor in people with carryons, strollers, etc. it makes for a tight squeeze when busy. It’s acceptable airport food with good service. Most airport restaurants can’t even say that.

I don’t know why I stopped to eat here. I mean I do but I really don’t know why I try. The last Champs I ate at was in Canada and it was no big deal. This one keeps up the tradition, but as a chain I shouldn’t have expected more. The service was slow for an airport restaurant. Even a sit down place in an airport usually puts some priority on seed of service. After all, the one thing everyone in an airport has in common, is that they are looking to get somewhere else. I had their bacon cheeseburger. Pretty sure it was jack cheese and apple wood bacon. There was just nothing special about the burger nor the fries and I was underwhelmed with the whole meal. If I’m gonna have to run to the gate then the food needs to be worth it. Sadly this in not. M’eh I’ve had better…

Serves breakfast. Their pico de gallo for the breakfast quesadilla is really jarred salsa, not fresh like I thought. You can play Michigan lottery here or check your tickets. Ok atmosphere, quiet at breakfast time. Limited breakfast menu, but has the basics like omelets and eggs

Most of the time, airport foods have that«I was previously frozen and chopped full of sodium and trans fat. This place still has that feel but it’s not as bad as like TGIFridays. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich though, and was pleasantly surprised at the final product. They have a few good beers and lots of seating. Good option if you are in the low D’s in terms or gates.
