So three years ago I get a job at the airport. Due to the nature of my job, I need to be informed on departure times etc of aircraft, and I was using my personal cell phone to access that info. But the free wifi was not cutting it. And my Sprint service aint the best . So I went ahead and signed up with Boingo mobile for $ 7.95 a month. They offered faster and unlimited internet over the free internet(at that time free internet shut off every ½ hr). So today, three years later I am trying to connect and it keeps dropping me. So I finally called their tech support. Some lady answered and got my acct info and asked me what type device I was using. Then she informed me, she needed to check for outtages at the airport and was putting me on hold. She comes back on the phone approx 3 mins later and informs me that her supervisor, Andrew needed to speak with me. Andrew goes about explaining that their service is for the passengers only and not for airport employees. That I have been logging on every day for 8 to 10 hrs a day. That passengers normally use the service for 1 to 2 hrs a week, and for that they have to charge me $ 30 a month from now on. That they are an airport wifi service and not something like a home wifi service, so there are limitations. So as of today I have cancelled their service. With one message, if anyone from their company happens to read my review here, you do not advertise faster and unlimited service for $ 7.95 a month, if you cannot provide faster and unlimited service. Unlimited means UNLIMITED! No limits should be imposed on someone after 3 years as a member, so you can then try and get extra money from your customer.
