Do not trust this business. I was told I needed a resonator and my converter unclogged and that it would cost $ 150. I was told by the mechanic, Bill, that he would take my car to the muffler shop they work with and the would do the actual work. A couple days later I return my car to Art’s Auto Repair because it makes an unbearably loud noise and bill takes a peek at it and says have a muffler shop weld a piece that’s separated. I then take my car to the muffler shop I assumed unclogged the converter and found out a new resonator had not been installed and my catalytic converter had not been unclogged, but removed and replaced with an illegal straight pipe that wasn’t even new. I spoke with the owner and he offered me store credit and refused to refund me the difference in the work I was charged and what was actually done. I then contacted the muffler repairs shop that Bill, the mechanic, said performed the work on my car and they told me my car was never brought to them. The muffler shop refunded me the difference even though they had not performed any work.
