Went here on a Sunday night with my husband and two kids — a 3 year old and an infant – after finding it on Unilocal. All the seating is outdoors, and my son loved the picnic table seating. My husband and I are huge burger fans, and this place did not disappoint at ALL. It’s by far one of the best burgers I’ve had. I got the ‘awesome burger’ and the name says it all. It was A-MAZ-ING. We also each tried a couple beers – love their large & unique beer selection. My son had a hot dog, he’s easy to please, and we all really loved their fries. Great view as well! This place was such a great find! It’s off the beaten path for sure and parking may be tough during the busier months, but we will definitely be back, and look forward to taking our friends & families when they come to visit.

Found this gem on Unilocal while visiting Destin two weeks ago. Unfortunately, it wasn’t open the first time we tried to go because it was too cold outside(and this cute place is 100% outside). But Fortunately for us it was open on our day out of town for lunch. First, the location is awesome!!! Right on the water overlooking the marina. Beautiful views. FYI: it is Easy to drive right by though so drive slow because it is so worth finding. Although it is considered a «beer garden» it can be for anyone really. It is in a courtyard with tables and picnic tables and the kitchen is a retro streamliner RV. The menu all looks delicious but I settled on a bacon cheeseburger and duck fat fries while my sister ordered their beef hot dog(I know a little boring but when traveling I can’t get too crazy). It was all delicious. All their beef is grass fed, natural beef and you can taste the difference. Cooked perfectly to order! Their brunch menu on weekends looks amazing as well and I had a hard choice between lunch and brunch. Brunch can include bottomless mimosas, which a group next to us had ordered. And they were truly bottomless and their glasses promptly refilled Multiple times. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Love this place and I bet would be a fun adult place to hang out at nighttime. Check out their menu to see the options. They have earned their 4.5 star status. The menu is limited but that’s one way I measure a great eatery! Usually the food is better when a place concentrates on a few things, using fresh ingredients and does them really well(not to mention they won’t have a million food items lingering on the shelves like most places with 4++ page menus). Give this place a try, you will NOT be disappointed. Definitely one of my go-to places when I am in Destin FL!!!

We visited The Other End in September. While not what I would describe as a beer garden, it was very unique and enjoyable setting(just don’t sit at the high table closest to the kitchen as the odor is a bit off putting.) Food was very good and we enjoyed the live music. The sunset over the harbor was stunning!

Brunch. Should’ve been 1.5 stars. Here we go: Pork belly tacos were cold and rubbery. Idk what happened with those. Mostly eggs anyways. My wife’s brat was good and actually warm still(shocker). However, you could taste the tin can the kraut came out of. Over priced food can. Catch a crowd in San Diego but not in the gulf. Otherwise it is a Chic little spot with decent beer, nothing that would compare to a major city draught beer selection by far. The kid on the guitar is the only reason this place is grabbing a second star. Dinner and night life might be different. Brunch I would not.

Easy to miss this HIDDEN gem. Tucked behind a yellow painted kayak shop. Park behind the shop. I found 3 spots down the alley between. Look for the airstream aka kitchen ! Destin Brewery IPA paired well with the harbor burger. Great clientele. Check hours carefully. Not open before 5pm weekdays.

I’m sure this is a lovely place if you get to enjoy it. We stopped by for dinner not realizing it was only outdoor seating. It was 50 degrees out and they only had 2 working heaters. Two other couples were already huddled under those, so we left. Parking is very limited as well(2 spots and a handicapped spot).

Wow! This place is a hidden gem! If you blink, you will drive right on by. If and when you do drive by it 2 or 3 or maybe even 4 times, don’t get frustrated as it is well worth it. Although a little pricey, the food is excellent. Michael, the cook does a fantastic job and will cook your food to order, if you ask nicely. They usually have 6 craft beers on tap. The atmosphere is relaxing and the view of the intercoastal is an added bonus. Check this place out, you will LOVE it!

Solid craft beer selections, live music and good food — egg rolls and pretzel are my go to. It’s all outside so can be a bit cold, but they’ve got heaters to warm you up. Staff is friendly and talkative if you are at the bar.

I absolutely loved this place! VIBE: super chill. Pretty much what you would expect from a beer garden in Florida. Didn’t know this at the time, but apparently they have live music on Sundays? Made the experience even better. This joint is OUTDOORS, bayside with a great view of the Destin harbor. FOODANDBEVS: Sundays they serve brunch until 2pm. Got there around 130 so I wasn’t in the mood for brunch. Their normal menu is simple: burgers, fries and brats. I got the Awesome Burger, which was pretty frickin awesome! As we waited for our food we drank some delicious bevs. They have a good selection of draft beers, about 10 to choose from. We also scored a free mimosa! Which btw is 10 bucks for bottomless mimosas that tasted liked they fresh squeezed those oranges! SERVICE: served me good food and brewskis, so no issues here. Definitely a good find! It’s tucked away behind a kayak shop so keep an eye out for it. I will be going back for sure!

Stopped by recently on a Sunday afternoon in the off season. We had just missed the live music and were the only car in the parking lot. It looked as if they were closing but they happily welcomed us. It was chilly out or we would have stayed for more than one pint. The view and vibe of the place is very cool. Good beer selection. The parking can be tricky. You can either park in the little lot up front or behind the building after you go through the light. Nice and knowledgeable staff really wanted us to try the food, and we wanted to, but like I said it was chilly and we had other dinner plans. I can’t wait to come back and try out the menu.

We passed by this place a while back when we moved here and we finally came by to try out the beer. We are craft beer lovers and I used to work for a brewery in San Diego and this place was great! They had amazing beer, a very good variety to choose from and it’s right on the bay so it has awesome views and a great vibe(they had live music when we went). I got a flighy of beers and asked our waiter to choose the beers for me. All delicious. We will definitely be coming back here!

The Other End was one of our favorite new finds during our recent trip to Destin. This unique bar/restaurant is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view of the harbor. They offer a wide selection of craft beers and the burgers are amazing. Each night we were there they also had live entertainment. It is important to note that it is primarily an outdoor venue consisting of a comfortable patio overlooking the harbor and a airstream trailer as the kitchen. Perfect location in nice weather but not much shelter if the weather is questionable. Stop by and have a beer and a burger. You won’t be sorry. Don’t forget to say hi to Holly. She was awesome.

Let’s start with what this place is. It’s a trailer, where the cooking is done, with a bar running along the outside. The remaining seating is outdoor tables and picnic tables. So, this is an outdoor establishment with NO indoor seating. They have a fairly limited menu but a nice selection of beers. Their Awesome Burger is, in fact, awesome. My wife’s salad was excellent too. Service was solid as well. Four stars instead of five? They allow smoking, so one person can easily ruin your experience. A guy we were downwind of started with a cigarette so we moved. Later, he decided to top off his meal and watch the sunset with a nice, big cigar. In my opinion, food and smoking don’t mix. Ban smoking, of all kinds, and this is a unique and fun place.

I love the vibe of this place. A great atmosphere(outside) and an attentive staff. They know and like the beers they are pouring which is a plus. This was the first place I heard of and tasted beer from the very new Destin Brewing. The food is great, too, though don’t come expecting something fancy. We almost always make our way there after finishing dinner elsewhere because we like the ambience. They were cool with my dog, too, and I appreciate that. Recommend figuring out where the bathrooms are before you tie one on, though. That part can be tricky.

Great craft beer selection, with 16 options on tap. As far as food, wife and I had the grouper sandwich, which was the fresh catch that day. Probably the best grouper I’ve ever had, and I’m one picky son of a bitch. Great, knowledgeable server, great food, and great beer. Truly a hidden gem– hopefully it doesn’t get too well known anytime soon.

FWIW, l’ve only drank at The Other End, even if the food does look awesome. Beautiful patio views of the harbor. Check. Laid back, locals-friendly atmosphere. Check. Dog-Friendly. Check. Around a dozen taps with local and national craft brews. Check. Decent enough vino for a beer joint. Check. Boat Parking. Done.

This place is great, 5 plus stars all day. The atmosphere the food the service are all unbelievable. Really hard to believe a food truck can put out such great food my hat goes off to the chef and the bartender who took the orders and served the food. We ordered the duck spring rolls which were so good, I could eat these all day. Duck confit is not the easiest dish to prefer and they know what they are doing. The blue cheese burger we order was probably the best I have ever had. Everything about it was spot on, the meat was full of flavor and cooked to perfection, the bun was toasted and soft and the blue cheese was not some cheap crumbles. The blue cheese complimented the meat did not mask. also the duck fat fries were something to note as well. The only negative would be that everything on the menu looks and sounds so good that it’s tough to decide! But luckily the server was very tentative and helped with making suggestions. you can tell the staff takes pride in this place, which is nice to see these days. I also orderd the local ipa which was perfect. I do not often order an ipa on such a hot day since it was local and I love craft beer I had to get. What a great choice. I have much experience in the restaurant/food truck and cooking world and for this place I would not change one thing. I’m am from out of town but can assure you I will be back whenever I’m in the destin area. Next time I’ll try brunch and would love to get a flight to sample all of the great beers on tap. Great work guys! Your talent and commitment shows, for the one that owns this joint you should be proud of what you have going… and if you want one suggestion… Open one in Cincinnati so I can be a regular !

Compared to everything else in this town, The Other End offers an experience that others should try to replicate. No touristy, mass produced, over priced, plates and cocktails here. They offer uniquely delicious bar food with some rare beers on draft and in bottles. The list of beers is quite extensive. The place is a small outdoor garden with some tables and a bar overlooking the bay. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and you can tell they love their jobs. They were more than willing to sit and chat with customers about menu items and beer selections. In terms of dining experiences, the staff knew how to enhance this feature for their guests. On top of the great atmosphere and friendly staff, the food and drink were top notch. I went with the blue cheese burger($ 14). The beef was salty and juicy and was served on a buttery toasted bun. The french fries were also very good. Much better than standard fries at most restaurants. They were hot and crispy with the skins still on. The burger was the perfect pairing with their beer. My favorite was the Kentucky Bourbon Ale($ 6 for a pint). I am used to having bourbon dark beers like stouts or porters but this ale was exceptional. It was the perfect accompanying drink for their burger. Overall, I would highly recommend The Other End to any 20-something year old beer drinker who loves a laid back atmosphere without a crowd. The experience is like no other in the area and I hope this pub/camper van experiences great success in the future.

Some folks we met when we were in town took us here for the first time on Memorial day weekend. The beer selection is fantastic as is the fiew. Most of the selection I had not seen in Destin except maybe Mellow Mushroom. The folks that work here are very friendly as well. I wish the kitchen stayed open a little later, but maybe I should try to eat dinner before 11:00PM.

The Other End of the spectrum when it comes to what this place offers compared to other establishments in Destin. 16 good, solid beers on tap as well as varied selection of bottle beers. This place is probably the only place in Destin where you’ll be able to find Avery’s Maharaja on tap(except for maybe the Craft Bar). I wish they had several more Florida brews on tap. Tip: get rid of the Founders and add Cigar City to your taps. The beers here were about $ 1 less than the Craft Bar down«the other end» of Hwy 98. The bar is hard to find if you’re just driving by. It’s behind a kayak rental place. You can park behind the kayak rental place or next door. The service was prompt, although the guys next to us felt like the bartenders were a tad bit slow, but they’ve only been open a few weeks, so I suspect service will improve over time. Everything is outdoors, which is great if the weather is cooperating! Grab yourself a beer, settle in underneath their tarp and enjoy the harbor view… life won’t suck.
