It’s important in this town to be able to go someplace to drink that doesn’t have a DJ or half-​assed cover band putting out 140 decibels, or Spring Breakers stepping on your foot and putting drugs in your drink. Well, most of those things are important.
Rupert’s is camouflaged with a bowling alley, which is an awesome disguise, when you think about it. It’s kind of a dive, but is a great dive. Lots of TVs, Buzztime Trivia, pool tables, and other stuff that I can’t remember. The prices are right, the bartenders are cool, there’s a great place to eat in the same building and once you get drunk enough to make bad decisions, you can decide to go bowling.
