I bought some sandwiches from Jimmy John the location on Eglin Parkway it was the worst sandwiches I ever had in my life the sandwich was Soggy with mayonnaise I felt like I was going to throw up I called the manager and explain to him that I specifically ask for extra light on the mayonnaise and all he said hoops sorry people make mistakes do not go to this place the horrible from the customer service to the sandwiches

They dropped off some sample sandwiches at my work and they were so delicious that I ended up going there for lunch not too long after. I also found out they deliver in my area. Such a yummy sandwich!

Everyone seems to rave about this place, Its just a sandwich… nothing special. I’d go again but wouldn’t ever crave it. Nice, clean location and staff. But again, just a basic sandwich.

There really isn’t anything spectacular about what Jimmy Johns does. The customer service was good and the place itself was clean and inviting, however, the sandwiches my guests and I purchased, were at best, mediocre. You get limited meat, cheese, and a small selection of vegetables on a choice of a few assorted breads. Thats it. We were trying to figure out what made the sandwich gourmet!
For 3 adults we dropped about $ 30 on several turkey and combo-meat subs, some chips, and drinks. We were excited to try this chain «gourmet» sub shop but were hugely disappointed in the end. We actually get a far superior sandwich from the Publix deli and having lived in New York, Los Angeles, and abroad, we understand what goes into an amazing sandwich. Jimmy Johns just doesn’t make the cut. We wish them well, however, we are moving on.

We have heard of this chain, and were excited to try it. It was clean, but the food was just kinda «meh» — nothing special about it at all. It was just bread with meat and cheese, lettuce, and dressing. No real taste to it at all.
I had the roast beef sandwich and it really didn’t have any beef flavor going on. It really just tasted like bread and lettuce, and there wasn’t even a lot of lettuce on there.
They just hand you the sandwich like a baton, over a tall counter, with no napkins or anything. Just seemed a little strange.
The music was too loud as well… maybe just the local staff had it turned up louder than the owner or general manager would have it.

first time to jimmy johns. we drove through. the four sandwiches were made to order. and was pretty fast in the preparations. four sandwiches and four bags of chips (kettle cooked, thick and crispy) $ 29.
no children’s menu.
the sandwiches were just ok. I wished I had gone to subway in the end.
I’m glad I tried it, but I don’t think I’d have to go back to get that sandwich.

Update:
Had to stop ordering here after we found flies stuck in the underside of the bread on two separate occasions.
Original Review:
These are the best subs in Destin, and very inexpensive. After you order they will be at your door within 10 – 15 minutes!
After getting delivery once, We now find ourselves ordering Jimmy Johns delivery at least twice a week.
The Hunter’s Club is my favorite with extra mayo.
Chips and drinks are a bit pricey considering how inexpensive the subs are, but you won’t care after you’ve tasted your sub!

Great lunch… sandwiches are A+ ! The gargantuan was great .well worth it! Delivery service was fast… i was a little disappointed. That they made the driver cover his small tattoos on his forearm. With band aids… driver was smiling add politely delivered our lunch… thats what mattered … give the kid a break about his tattoos…
