My wife and I were staying In FWB last week with some family and decided to do some fishing. I have to admit, living in Oregon and growing up in Idaho I’m used to fishing from the banks of small rivers and cricks I was a little nervous heading out on a boat to do some fishing.
Nicky took us out for the day, I got a little sea sick but instead of being impatient he laughed it off and gave me some tips. Nicky knew all the spots to hit and really made it worth booking the outing.
I think the overall value was that Nicky is a local, he told us that he was born and raised in the area, we asked about some places to visit off the normal tourist path and he told us the places to hit with good beer and good people.

I had family come into town and wanted to go fishing. I am a local so, naturally, I wanted to ensure their trip was the best of the best. We had an AMAZING time! All of us were beginners, but Nicky showed us the ropes (he’s been doing this for a while). To sum up our trip: Lots of laughs and lots of fish! I would absolutely book a trip again and recommend to anyone!

Great trip! Nicky’s very knowledgeable and it’s obvious he enjoys what he does. Hit our limit on red snapper and pulled in some Jacks as well. Will absolutely be going back and would recommend to anyone interested in a trip out of Destin. Thanks Nick!

Doesn’t get any better than Nicky! Had a great trip and some great fish for dinner that night! Would definitely recommend Emerald Coast Outfitters to beginners and pros alike. All will have a great time and enjoy their catch before and after the trip!

Went on a trip with my husband and a couple close friends, it was a little rainy– damn mother nature and unpredictable Florida weather– but captain Nicky told a us we could still go if we wanted. We did, and we caught just under our limit on Snapper! We did have a rough patch of weather for about an hour but captain Nicky was calm and focused on getting us out of it. Once we were out we went right back to fishing and now we have an AWESOME fishing story. Definitely plan on going back out soon!
