Hair by M&S

The salon is very nice and clean, and Susan seemed very nice. She also took a long time to style my hair at the end which I appreciated. However, she cut my hair too short, and when I got home I also noticed that the sides were uneven. Now I need to decide if I am going to just wait for it to grow out or go somewhere else to get it fixed.

This is my first trip to Susan. I just moved to the area and desperately needed a cut. I’m really squeamish on my hair (probably like most girls) and Unilocaled a bunch of salons in my area. Now I know why she has great reviews. Susan is great and she made me feel very comfortable. She took her time on my hair and did an amazing job at straightening it (which is a big deal for me) I found my place!

This was my first time at this salon and I’m very pleased with the results! I dragged my boyfriend along for the ride as his hair (which was down to his lower back mind you) was in dire need of a trim. I called and made the appointments and we arrived to a very charming and well lit shop where we were greeted by our wonderful stylist (whose name I’m very sorry I can’t remember). She was very knowledgeable and gentle with our hair and as we both liked how my hair turned out, my bf was comfortable enough sitting in the chair as well. He wasn’t 100% sure what he wanted but she talked him through his options and we are both very satisfied.
Besides the great service the shop itself is very clean, I didn’t see any stray hair or dirt on the floor. The atmosphere was very soothing and modern. I thought it was very nice that there were a lot of plants inside, it really brought some life and freshness into the space.

I have been a long term customer of Susan’s. I occasionally have to go to a competitor due to my work hours. They do an OK job but Susan’s skill is far superior. I would rather take time off to make sure Susan cuts my hair. She is awesome!

I have been going to see Susan for 8 years, and was very excited when she decided to open a salon with a partner. I continue to go back and see her, she gets it right every time. She is now sole proprietor of the business, and offers full salon services. Walk-​ins are welcome, but calling ahead is always best. As long as I’m in the area I will go back to her!

Recently opened by two friends, read an article and saw that a person who used to cut my hair at Super Cuts was one of the owners so went to get a haircut. I have been to Hair by M&S for the past six months and it is a very nice salon and Mary is a wonderful person who will talk or just let you chill as you wish. Both Marry and her friend give equally awesome haircuts and shampoo when done for reasonable price. If you need a haircut try this new salon, you will leave impressed.
