The Art of Shaving

One of the gentlemen at this location was super helpful and had excellent knowledge of their products. While I was there another one of the gentleman helping other customers had a beard that looked like public hair on his face and was berating another gentleman’s beard. Really gave the store kind of a hostile feel because you could tell the customer was really upset and just wanted to leave after that.

This «Art of Shaving» is relatively new to its Des Peres location, being about a year old, I want to say. I always enjoy visiting it as the employees are delightful and eager to help. Should you have a question about shaving, shave-​prep, razors to use, or whatever they will have a great answer and be eager to make sure any problems you have are handled (for example, «What razor is best for me?» and so forth).
As this is a full store location they have more items for sale than just a Macy’s that carries some «Art of Shaving» products. They have everything from the aforementioned razors to shaving cream, pre-​shave oil, after-​shave, shaving soap, assorted shaving brushes, grooming kits, and anything else you can think of that would relate to your shaving needs.
The only problem I could really say I have isn’t with this location, but how «Art of Shaving» products can be a bit pricey. You get what you pay for, as my sensitive skin no longer breaks-​out from cheaper shaving creams, but I would always recommend to try to get your supplies during a sale. Other than price concerns though, this is a great place!
