Siddall Moving & Storage

Zero stars. I only put one because it’s making me. I’ve never had a worse experience with any business I’ve patronized in my life. The movers constantly complained about moving things (aka doing their job), and flatly refused to move certain things. They also wasted a tremendous amount of time telling us all the things they couldn’t/wouldn’t do and argued with us about all these items. They also just quit loading things with plenty of space left in the truck on the last load because they claimed we were running out of time when I knew we weren’t. When I pressed them on that, I was told, «you think it just takes 15 minutes to unload all this shit from the truck?!» Very professional.
I was argued with, sworn at, ignored when I tried to talk to them and give instructions, and just generally treated in a terrible manner, all the while my wife and I were loading the truck right along side them, working just as hard (if not harder) than them.
They were also very careless with boxes, leading us to hide a few marked «fragile» because they weren’t paying any attention.
In the end I will say the worst of the crew personally apologized to me, and some of our money was refunded but it was way too little way too late. We are now left with several large items, the very things we hired «professionals» to move and really no way to move them, and no recourse other than to write this review.
I completely regret hiring Siddal Moving, and not only would I never hire them again but I will specifically tell others not to hire them.

Great crew, very nice & considerate! Did an outstanding job with our move! I have already recommended them.

We are remodeling our basement and hired them to come simply move furniture from the basement to the garage.
Of the three pieces of furniture they successfully moved one — and they tore up the wall. They didn’t move the other furniture, charged us full price even though they were there for a short time, and then left without putting our back door back on.
When we called to get a refund the lady said «she’d talk to the boss and see what he would do». We never heard back. Even their employees said they wouldn’t have charged us.
The next day, the guys remodeling our house successfully moved the furniture out in about 15 minutes without tearing up the wall. And they put the door back on.
Long story short — don’t hire these guys if you want a professional service. They just want your money.
