They are definitely convenient! And the price isn’t that bad either! They’re not fancy and there not a big place but the beds are still comfy enough! If you’re on the go and you need a place to stay I highly recommend them! The clerks are always helpful and if you have a problem they will take care of it immediately and that’s usually a thing that doesn’t happen quite often in these small time places! They’re close to where it is you need to go especially the interstate! The TVs aren’t bad! But I’ve always had a clean room nice warm bed to sleep in and in the summer the air conditioning works perfectly! If you have an AARP or are a trucker they give you great discounts! I hope they’re here for a long time!

This Rodeway Inn is a little rough. I walk into the entrance and the first I notice is the smell of cigarette smoke in the carpet and everywhere. My room was a non-smoking room and no other complaints, honestly. Place probably hasn’t had any kind of remodeling since it first opened. I did find the staff to be super nice.

Stayed here for a trip to Adventureland. It was the cheapest I could find, and while I have low expectations about cheap motels, this was not so great. It looked a bit dumpy when I pulled up, but also relatively freshly painted. And the lobby looked much better than the hotel did from the outside, despite the ridiculously high check I counter(which did have a lower counter an the end, but they didn’t seem interested in using that part). So I thought maybe I dodged a bullet. Was I wrong. First, the door was hard to open, as it tended to stick in the frame. The room smelled musty. Carpet frayed. Stain on shower curtain. Long hairs in sink. When I turned on the shower, a clump of hair stuck on the drain floated up. There was an iron, but no board. The shower was installed so, low, it hit at my shoulder blades – and I’m of an average 5’7″. There was two doors to enter the room, but one did not have a security lock – and believe me, this place could have used it. There was dying moth on the floor, and the TV(an old CRT/boob tube type) did not turn on, despite being plugged in.(Granted, I probably could’ve just complained to the front desk on that matter, but at that point, I decided to just use my own iPad instead.). I wish I could say I was exaggerating all this, but it truly what happened. The only pluses for me, but they may not be pluses for everyone: the pillows were very firm as was the bed(though it did not use a fitted sheet, which drives me crazy when it pulls up underneath me as I sleep), and the shower pressure and temperature(I like very hot showers) were nice. Just awkward to bend in crazy shapes since the nozzle was so low. Wifi worked great during the evening, and then seemed to not be functional the next morning. I want to reiterate that I stay in bargain basement hotels often, so I didn’t expect great, new, or modern. But at least clean and working would be nice.
