Went on a Sat. Night around 5:30, place was pretty dead but it took forever to get our food, asked for a high chair and they never brought it had to go find one myself. I ordered the grilled chicken ceaser salad and the chicken was horrible and there was hardly any lettuce. My Mother ordered Salmon and it was barely warm, my daughter got a cheeseburger and said it was gross, and she loves them. The baby did like his grilled cheese but that’s about it, now I know why they were dead. I would never go back. Eww just ewwww. I can still taste the horrible chicken and need to go brush my teeth!

Hy-​Vee Market is great!
I have always dug the salad bars and all you can eat buffets at Hy-​Vee but this is above and beyond!
You can still get that great salad bar, loaded with everything from mixed greens, to soups, to fruits, to veggies, to pudding type deserts! It rules and if you get all you can eat, it’s endless too!
You can also choose the hot bar all you can eat that includes the salad bar! The hot bar gets you any thing from the deli, Pizza, pasta, Chinese food, etc. It’s also all you can eat and full of healthy and no so healthy options!
Now the Market also includes BEER and Drinks… WHAT You might ask, yep you can down a brew at brunch before you go shopping in the rest of the store! How cool is that!
For a grocery store restaurant this is one of the finest I have ever seen, great service, nice booths, and super convenient. Great work Hy-​Vee!

So far I have eaten here 3 times and the food has been consistently good. They also have a decent drink list. It’s very convenient to have dinner, enjoy a nice drink, and then get some grocery shopping done. I am curious to try their Sunday brunch.

We absolutely love going here before grocery shopping, for brunch, during games, or just for a quick stop in. The food is more than pub food — it’s really well done. Better yet, and mor than any other place you’ll find, they can add almost anything to your food per your request. They never run out of anything since they’re attached to the main store, and prices are completely reasonable.
Saturdays and Sundays feature a brunch buffet that’s a great cost-​conscious option and for a small additional price, they have bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. We’ve been to a few of these in HyVee stores and find this team gets a little overloaded (slower) when they’re super busy but that’s the case with almost anywhere. The bar staff has consistently been entertaining and helpful during games and in making food selections.

We went in for a quick lunch at the salad bar and the way HyVee has remodeled it, they make you sit down and have a server. So now the normally cheap salad bar cost extra because you have to tip someone. It is also inconvenient if you want to fill up your drink multiple times on your own schedule. It will deter me from coming here to eat in the future, & I used to come here a lot.
