Hott Off the Press Printing

I worked at a local nonprofit that did microenterprise training, so we wanted to be supportive of other small businesses when we did printing. Unfortunately, this was not the right place to pick, From start to finish, working with Hott was difficult. Several printing jobs were botched (cut incorrectly, blurred printing, etc with brochures and business cards) and finally we decided to go with another provider. About 6 months later, Hott called to inquire why we weren’t doing business with him any more. He was demanding, angry and rude on the phone. I was appalled. Hott is very unprofessional in both his services and his customer service. Needless to say, he did not onvice us to change our minds and return to Hott.

I have not used Hott Off the Press Printing, so this review is for service alone. I was attempting to find a local printer who could do several fine art prints on giclee or rag paper, and I gave Hott a call. I explained what I was wanting and they asked how many I would be needing, and I started to explain that I was a new Etsy business, so I’d just need 2 of each print currently. Before I could even get all of that out, I was told «No, we can’t do that! No, we can’t do that!» and hung up on. I get that the business was likely busy and that they apparently only do large orders. But, if I had been told that in a kind way, I would have completely understood. Instead, to be completely cut off, shut down, and hung up on… Unacceptable! I don’t leave bad reviews, but this was awful. In the future I will never try this business and will tell others of my extremely unfriendly experience.
