If you’re expectations are in the right place before you give the Firehouse Lounge a try you will be pleasantly surprised! This is a BAR first and foremost. But, my wife’s breaded tenderloin was hand-breaded and well cooked, as were the onion rings. I had the grinder with peppers and cheese and it too was delicious featuring Graziano’s sausage and toasted French bread. The décor is definitely dated and it seems as you walk in that it may be a dive. But, the people are friendly as was the bartender. If there is one knock that I could make against the place, it would be that the beer is not cold enough, bottle can or draft. I recommend cocktails. With that said, this is a great place to get lost on a Saturday afternoon or at Happy Hour! And if you decide to eat, you’ll be glad you did as far as I’m concerned!
