Went in to buy a pair of gloves, decided to look at bikes. Nice Street Glide which I inquired with the salesman(bald, chubby fellow with goatee), who was very helpful. Ran on about his work history, bike history etc., but fine enough. When I asked about trading my Vrod, his tone changed. He proceeded to tell me how the bike I told him I loved and owned, but just maybe want something bigger for touring, was not a «real Harley». The exact quote, «No offense, but Vrods aren’t real Harley’s». I expect this from idiots on bike night who have to have seats as wide as their jumbo wives, but from a salesman trying to sell me a 15k motorcycle? Brutal. How they let this person sell bikes is beyond me, keep your ridiculous opinion to yourself, don’t insult people. And get the hint that your 3 stories about why Vrods are bad and don’t sell was not persuading me to give you my cash, yes the cash I could have paid for your 15k bike. Fender could really do better, likely won’t ever go back again, too bad, guy who sold me the gloves was quite pleasant!

I ordered a wrench from them on amazon. 10 days later –still no wrench. No email. No nothing. I will never order from them again. No contact = they don’t care about the customer and cannot handle the business they have.

I needed a battery for my bike. The original was a 230CCA. I checked with my local auto parts store and all they had was some 120CCA batteries. My next stop was at Interstate Battery. They had one alright. … for $ 206. I called Fenders and they had one also… for $ 89. Now I know exactly where to go next time for a bike Battery. I’ve had my bike serviced at Fenders and they did a good job. I like their new store and location too. So far I have no complaints about Fenders Motorcycle and I would, and will, recommend them to anyone. FYI: The map currently shows the Store at it’s old address. Fenders has moved to 1500 E. Army Post which is about a block EAST of S. E 14th on the north side of the street. Their old Store was about a block WEST of S.E. 14th on the south side of the street. It’s easy to find.
