Dr. Winters and his staff are extremely friendly, professional, and skilled. I wouldn’t ever think of going anywhere else in Des Moines for my dental care.

I have lived in the Des Moines area for several years and finally decided to switch dentists to have one here in the DSM area. I admit I looked up which dentists were covered by insurance and found one closest to my house. I am glad that Iowa Dental Arts happened to be closest to my house, I have had great experiences with them!
Arriving at the practice I wasn’t sure what I would think, as they are located in a small house on Beaver Ave. I had driven past it many times and thought nothing of it, but once I entered the house I was happily greeted by a clean greeting area and pleasant staff.
Dr. Dennis Winter is the sole dentist in the practice, as far as I know. He is a friendly, extremely competent dentist. I will admit I had a couple cavities and Dr. Winter was able to use a laser to clean the cavities and fill them in less than 45 minutes without anesthetic! He kept me informed during the entire procedure, letting me know what he was working on and what to expect. I appreciated his knowledge and comfortable demeanor with me as a patient.
As a cool aside, the practice uses high-​tech gear including mobile and email alerts of your upcoming appointments!
