Huge fan of the cub club, they create a unique experience while watching the cubs play. Service is good, Katie is my favorite. The food is good, for heat and eat.

My wife and I grabbed a table for lunch to watch first couple of innings of a ICubs day game. Could not be happier. The restaurant was bright and lively. Plenty of chatter about the players and the upcoming game. The food was fantastic. We were both surprised by how good it was. We will definitely be back to try some of the other selections. Our service was fast friendly and not bother some. Very important when you are focused on the game. The topper, of course the entire restaurant stood during the national anthem. AWESOME!!!

My buddy and I stopped in here for a quick lunch one day after discovering this place existed! I have never been to a Cub game and it is still on my to-do list! We came here during the offseason for lunch, they are open year-round which is amazing! Parking was basically whatever you want since there wasn’t a game going on the entire lot is available to you! It was easy to gain access to the restaurant just following the signs upon entering. The staff members were very friendly and we were seated promptly. First, the view was incredible! It feels like you’re in a pressbox watching the game! Second, loved the interior décor of the eatery, it is modern, clean, and obviously baseball themed! They only serve breakfast and lunch here, but their menu is actually pretty extensive and everything looked great! We had Chicken Wings to start which were delicious, big and flavorful wings! I had the Rarebit Burger which was prepared perfectly and it tasted great!(Must see the picture to see its greatness!) My buddy got himself a sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries, everything looked amazing! Would definitely return here to have a meal again!

This is a family favorite, great prices and friendly staff. Be sure to try the home run! This is an excellent place for a business meeting. We love the coffee and pancakes.

Good food, good service, clean, very affordable but the best part of it all is eating breakfast overlooking the ballfield. I will visit this place again for sure.

Cub Club is awesome. I had an event here and the view of the field was great! It is so bright and well maintained!!! The food catered by the club was amazing! And the staff was super friendly and amazing! They host a variety of events in this bright open space. If you have breakfast or lunch here during the week you can catch s game with no tickets.

I’ve dined here several times for meetings and lunch when down town. If you can make lunch on a game day, no ticket required and you can watch from the windows.

This place is awesome! Friendly staff and awesome food, great place to catch a day game for free! It has a great view of the field from left field. They host a lot of special events such as weddings, work outings and their catering is phenomenal. I personally liked the coconut chicken and their chocolate cake. Their bottled beer selection is nice for a small place, plus they have domestic and a seasonal beer on tap.

The Cub Club restaurant is so cool! It’s only open for breakfast and lunch and events, but you can sit and watch the baseball games for free through the big windows while you eat and drink! The staff is all really nice and friendly, especially Casey. I went to a Unilocal event here and the food was good — coconut chicken, beef tips, chocolate cake, spinach dip and more! We also went on a behind-the-scenes tour of the player’s quarters, which was really cool, led by Casey. I’m a fan. :)

Had a meeting yesterday at the Cub Club at Principal Park over lunch and boy was it fun! I love baseball, in fact it was my first love! So when I moved to Des Moines I wanted to live close to the ball park! I’m pretty lucky I live so close that on Friday nights after an ICubs home games, I have the perfect view of the fireworks from my bedroom windows! It’s pretty amazing! Of all the times I have been to the stadium, this was my first experience at the Cub Club! Cub Club is open weekdays for breakfast and lunch. And after hours for parties and events. The menu is filled with a great assortment of American favorites! The sweet potato fries came recommended so I got those with a veggie burger! The burger was great, cooked to perfection! A total home run! But the sweet potato fries were a grand slam to win the world series good! Easily the best sweet potato fries I have had in all of Des Moines! Tip: during day games in the summer you can go and eat lunch and catch a bit of a noon game for free. The prices here are great, Full bar. Friendly staff. Easy access from downtown. Free parking. Great ballpark view. How can you go wrong! Batter Up!

It’s open all the time, not just during ball games! I meet here each month with colleagues in the morning and it’s always nice breakfast. The menu is simple and tasty, prices are great! A cup of brewed coffee and breakfast sandwich(my suggestion is the ciabatta bread egg, bacon and cheese sandwich) are under $ 6. Free Wifi too.
