Redmill Beer & Wine

This place is close to my house but I avoid it at all costs. The people who run the store are never friendly and don’t ask me if I found everything OK. I go out of my way not to go here. Go to Derwood beer and wine,

Red mill beer and wine isn’t so bad.
Their wine selection is pretty cool and very impressive. Although it is a very small store, they still managed to make the place look presentable.
Sad to say that I only came in to buy a quick box of Razberitas since I was in a rush.
Next time I’ll make sure to pick out a couple wine bottles for summer :)
The cashier was very cool and humble and that just won me over. bfriendly staff is always a must!
*If there is one thing that disappoints me. is the fact that they do not have any chilled/​cooled wine bottles in the freezer for those who are on the go and/​or need it chilled.
Just saying.
I will be returning to Red Mill Beer and Wine and I cannot wait!

This place has the best selection of beer in the area. besides heading to Olney, or god forbid, Laurel. The prices aren’t too rediculously either.

Hours: Open Mon-​Sat 7am-​12pm; Sun 8am-11:30pm
So my fiancée lives up this way and she has lots of family in that area. So whenever there’s a family thing going on and spirits start running low guess who has to do the «milk run?» Little ol’ me, Hey wheres the beer, wine etc etc no problem guys I got it. After all they are doing all the cooking so might as well make myself use full right? Now the nice thing that I like about this place is the hours of operation. BUT! common sense tells me NEVER EVER go late (that’s when these types of places get robbed) none the less it’s good for when you are running on empty and every other wine beer store is closed. Just take back up with you like a buddy who’s a cop and packing heat.
They have a nice selection of Yellow Tail for some reason I’m getting into Aussie wine. They also have these high priced beers, ales and lagers that come in these fancy wine type bottles. Priced like wine too for a bottle like $ 20 bucks def not for college beer guzzling parties. Different verities and labels of wine through out the store German, French, Italian a couple of sake bottles and plum wine. They also have cheap wine there too (bum wine) so you can get toasted and spend very little. On one of my many milk runs fiancée sent me just to get an inexpensive table wine. «Which type?» I asked going out the door «Doesn’t matter any type just not too much (price wise) you pick.» She replied. Okay rushed in grabbed the first thing I saw in red. She was fixing some south Asian dish I’ve never herd of involving goat of some sort. I wound up bringing back a bottle of Rossi. «NOOOOOoooooo»… she exclaimed with a high pitch voice, when she took it out of the bag. «I can’t stand Rossi it’s the worst» But honey bunny you said didn’t matter what type. «No take it back.» But darling dearest you said cheap «No, exchange it they will exchange it.» But… but…she just gives me that look. okay off I go again and sure enough they took it back and I brought a bottle of Yellow Tail which I should have done in the first place. Just walk to the back and over to the left there it is, problem solved the clerk guy was very understanding when I explain have to keep harmony with wife to be. He shook his head in agreement and laughed. «I know exactly what you mean my friend.»
