This is a good place for dog walkers, people with kids or for throwing a ball around. Bikers and joggers will find its small size boring. It’s a solid and safe place that’s slightly off the beaten path so it’s no usually very crowded unless people are using the splash pad in the summer.

Really great place to take the kids in the summer. Derry does a great job with their parks. Kids of all ages will have something fun to do.

This is a good way to burn a few hours in the summer with kids. A nice splash pad and two playgrounds kept my kiddo busy but beware the spinning seats as once kids build up momentum, the only way that they’re getting off without help, is by flipping off (which looked like it hurt). The bathrooms were pretty clean in the afternoon and the concessions were very reasonably priced; I still say spring a picnic because there are tables and plenty of places to find shade.

this park is great!!!
My lil bbb loved it here! He was cheering on as we approached the splash pad. Tons of kids but plenty of space to still walk/​crawl around.
Parking can be tough. Limited number of spots to park. We ended up waiting 5 minutes and got one! We got there around 10:30.
All you really need to bring is a towel and sunscreen and maybe snacks and picnic blanket.
They do have picnic tables to sit at in 2 areas. We lives being on all the grass areas around.
The concession stand is pretty good with reasonable prices.
They have restrooms and there is a playground as well.
I’m thrilled to have this park around for us to go to to cool of from the hot summer days! :)
