I always bring my suits and pants to be tailored by Mr. Carlino! He is an old Italian gentlemen I every sense of the word.
I began frequenting his establishment when I lived in Shelton, but gave continued to come here since moving to Hamden — even though I drive by a dozen tailors to get here.
The extra time is well worth the friendly, personal service he provides! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get tailoring done!!!

Called on Monday to verify what time they opened. Was told they open at 9:30am on Tuesdays. Confirmed that I would meet them there 1^st thing Tuesday morning at 9:30am. Got there at 9:30am and they were closed. Waited until 10am and still no one showed up. I will be looking elsewhere.

I’ve had several pairs of women’s pants tailored here. A few pairs were difficult to tailor, but thanks to the skillful and detailed work of Mr. Carlino, the pants came out beautifully. He has been in the business a long time and his tailoring reflects it.
