We showed up close to 2pm on a Thursday and it was not open. The sign said it should be as did Unilocal

I cannot review the food because we left soon after being seated. When we walked up the first thing I saw was the door was covered in cardboard and a paper sign(hard to see) said cash only until further notice. I was annoyed because I had spoke with them to make my reservation and they never mentioned this. I am not sure what happened to the door but it is worrying that it was not immediately fixed. When we went in it was small but we were excited by the reviews. The hostess sat us by the window and my friend had to take her menu and swipe dead bugs off the table. Then I looked up and saw a few flies buzzing around the window by her head. We were done at that point and left. It’s a shame because the reviews were amazing and I was looking forward to trying the much regaled Lobster Ravioli. I hope they fix whatever issues they are having but I will not go back to find out.

Had lunch with friends today at Eatalia II in Deptford. The food was fresh and delicious. Sorry I didn’t take pictures but we had Eggplant Rollatini as an app and it was really good. Our entrees consisted of ravioli, rigatoni with chicken and veggies, chicken marsala and a linguine with clams, mussels, calamari and shrimp. Everything was delicious. Dessert was cannoli and tiramisu. We shared and that was good because I would have eaten the whole thing it was that good. Our server, Brianna, was very attentive and accommodating. The staff was very friendly. There were other things on the menu I would liked to try, so we will definitely be going back. Oh, and they give you a delicious pesto, peas, olive oil spread for the fresh Italian bread that was delicious. I highly recommend Eatalia II for a great meal.

My wife and I ate here recently and it is one of the BEST Italian restaurants in this area. I grew up on Italian food so I know a good meal when I devour it. The appetizers were wonderful, the main course was tremendous and the deserts were to die for. We’re coming back again and again.

I attended Eatalia II last night with my girlfriend. We braved a mix of Icey slush falling from the sky to get to this spot in West Deptford at the recommendation of a couple close friends. Due to the inclement weather, we were the only table on a lonely Tuesday evening. That being said, most restaurants would close on such a glum evening with a nonexistent turn out, so bonus points for your Eatalia II for staying open! We were met by who I believe is the owner and quickly seated. The romantic italian music was lightly heard over the pitter patter of rain fall outside as our bread was served oven hot from the kitchen. The bread was fantastic, but it paled in comparison to the freshly made hummus and oil. Simply a divine combination and fabulous way to start a meal. I’d go back just for the hummus. We ordered the Bruschetta which was very tasty, a bit too heavy on garlic for my taste but beyond that it was excellent. For our entrée’s we selected the Lobster Ravioli and the Pasta in a Bolognese sauce. The flavor profile of both plates was incredibly diverse and fulfilling. The plate presentation was neat and clean. The portions were perfect, not overloaded with sauce or the need for a take out container. We chased ]our meal down with a house red wine which was light but complimented our meal quite well. I am unable to recollect the brand of the house wine. The final point is we ordered a home made Tiramisu which was just the right amount of creamy and were gifted two limoncello’s by the owner. Overall the pricing was just right, the atmosphere was elegant, and the service was excellent. Keep in mind we were the only table so I can’t comment on how things work for a busy Saturday, but I’d encourage you to make it out on a week night to get top shelf service and a nice quite atmosphere. 5⁄5 will be going again!!!

If you like Eatalia, you’ll love Eatalia II. I’m sorry I don’t have more pictures, but we descended on our food too quickly! The bruschetta here is so amazing and fresh. It’s amazing how something so simple can be so good. We ordered so many appetizers, and they were all so amazing. A friend I dined with had the porterhouse steak special which he said was excellent, which is a feat in and of itself, given how difficult steaks are to properly grill. I had the pappardelle with a beef bolognese which is one of my favorite dishes and Eatalia II’s pappardelle didn’t dissapoint. It’s a little but bigger than that original location in Port Richmond. I absolutely love it here and can definitely say I am a loyal customer of both locations now! The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent! Great job to the Eatalia Team for opening another awesome restaurant!

A delicious Italian restaurant in Deptford across from Pop’s ice cream. This small but quaint Italian eatery looks unassuming from the road but the food is not! A delighful asssortment of specialties including a bacon and horseradish wrapped shrimp for a great appetizer. My branzino was prepared with a lemon butter sauce and capers. I asked for a side of pasta instead of potatoes and was warmly accommodated. The bread is served w an authentic pesto sauce for dippping. My husband ordered the lobster raviloi and it was served with an array of shrimp and a was presented beautifully. Dessert was blackberry cheesecake for hubby and ricotta filled cannoli for myself. Friendly service, fabulous food and although not cheap it was worth the $! Will be back for sure with friends. Skip the new Italian restaurant on Salina rd… go to Eatalia!

Growing up in South Philly I have had my fair share of Italian food both home made and at the restaurant. This place was not up to par for me nor for the other 3 ppl I was with. Service needs improvement and the wait for the food was a bit much. The dessert was ok. The crème bru le was soupy. I have never seen crème bru le soupy.

There are Italian restaurants, then there are ITALIAN! !!! Restaurants. This place would be the latter… this is the place your Italian mother would send you! The authenticity of the dishes will send your taste buds on a journey of rediscovery… the food is fantastic. The bread comes warm, the pesto is fresh, and the service is individualized. The place is small, so you get the attention and service you deserve. The Lobster ravioli are succulent. The specials are always different and delicious. Ive been there once a week now since they opened and still so much to try. Dont forget desert. Lemoncello cake is on the menu… enough said. Byob, so bring a bottle. One downside, not enough parking… get there early. See you there!(I like Tuesday’s, not so crowded.)

If I could give 10 stars I would. This is a fabulous place to have authentic Italian food. If you are looking for something other than the«chain» places give Eatalia II a try, you will not be disappointed. Service is impeccable and the food is out of this world. Best lobster ravioli! Limoncello cake is to die for

This place just opened and my wife and I thought we’d check it out. Overall we both agreed the food was excellent. My wife had the lobster ravioli which had lumps of lobster throughout. We’ve had a lot of lobster ravioli from different places, and this was an impressive dish which was also served with shrimp and crabmeat on top. I had the rigatoni with salmon, which was amazing. The caprese salad was also excellent and very flavorful. The waiter was very polite, attentive and was sure to fill our water often. The only thing I might pick on a little, would be the prices were a little high considering the area. The quality of food did match the pricing well though, so if you don’t mind spending a little for some good food, check out the EAThalia II in deptford.
