Watch out for expired food, they have lots of them out on the shelves. The organic selection is very small, almost non-existent. They have a huge sign on the window«organics». Although the people there are very nice and they have a large assortment of conventional produce, just be careful of the expired items.

I cannot say enough great things about Apple Farm. I’m not quite sure if it’s a curse or blessing that they’re located in a nearly empty strip mall(RIP Rag Shop and Saporito’s), but I sure am glad to live so close. The produce is absolutely top notch and their assortment of high quality(and tasty!) organic goods can’t be beat, but the surprise star is the freshly made tofu. For a vegetarian like me it is heaven-sent and the price can’t be beat. This is also my go-to place to pick up a bouquet. Expensive but beautiful and lively. I know I sound like a commercial, but this is honestly my favorite local«mom and pop» and I hope they never go away.

I have been passed this place for the last 4 years and never went into it until last weekend. What a gem of a find. The problem is that it is tucked away in a small mall that has more stores closed/unoccupied. First of all I was impressed how clean and tidy the store looked. Upon further walking around I noticed how fresh and well displayed the produce was. The prices are better then most of the grocery stores and fresher. They keep the berries in a fridge which is great, as I hate buying raspberries from the stores only to find out when I get home that most of them are already going bad. They sell dry goods as well as floweres and planters. They also make a great fruit salad bowl for a great price.
