Love Dr. Angello! My first visit was the most relaxed annual exam ever. She made me feel like I could trust her. If you want more than a white coat and a cold demeanor, this is the doctor for you!

If you are looking for the most kind, caring, warm hearted doctor she is the one. Doctors I know are like partners, not everyone is perfect for everyone else but this one is perfect for me. Yes, she is on the safe and conservative side but I trust her with my health and my baby.

We visited this doctor one time. Thing #1: We arrived half an hour early to our appointment as requested, to fill out paperwork. We were not even given the paperwork until 10 minutes after the scheduled appointment time(wait time so far: 40 minutes) Thing #2: We were finally let in to see the doctor one hour and 15 minutes past our scheduled appointment time(total wait time: one hour 45 minutes). Thing #3: Dr. Agnello is openly very conservative, both in her ideals of treatment, and in her politics. That may not be a bad thing for some patients. However it is not my preferred type of doctor. Thing #4: The doctor is also extremely prone to non stop talking and for the patient to get a word in edgewise you have to outright interrupt her in order to ask any questions or make any comments. She would ask a question, wait for a brief answer and then launch into a lengthy opinionated lecture with barely a stop for breath. The other poster who said she hasn’t read any medical journals in a long time is not totally right, but, I would not call her practice cutting edge either. I think a lot of our wait time was due to the manual paperwork system for each patient being managed by a single person behind the desk.

If you’re looking for an OB/GYN that apparently has not read a medical journal in the last 20 years, then Dr. Agnello is for you. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a doctor that keeps up with the constantly changing field, then I suggest you run from her office as if it were on fire. Here are some of the little nuggets of wisdom that she imparted on me during my insurance funded adventure through frontier medicine: 1– When I asked her about getting a referral for the sterilization procedure Essure I was told that a– it was not possible that I didn’t want children, I’m just not with«Mr. Right»(I haven’t wanted children since I was a child) and that b– this must be some new experimental procedure because she never heard of it(it’s been FDA approved for well over a decade and is actually safer and more effective than tubal ligation.) 2– she would not write me a prescription for generic birth control because generics are less effective. NOTTRUE! And the fact that a physician would even be promoting such nonsense makes me wonder if she actually even applied to med school, much less graduated. I like to consider myself a very educated patient, I always research before going to the doctor and my father is a great physician who is always willing to help me learn about medicines, procedures and illnesses. I shutter to think about the women that go to Dr. Agnello blindly following her completely uneducated, dangerous and expensive advice.
