Short & Sweet: The Food Here is YUM! SITREP After grabbing my coffee at Dazbog, I was decidedly more hungry than the mere pastry offerings that Dazbog had. Looking across the Airport Terminal, I beheld a most fair & lovely«Woody Creek». THESETUP I literally had only 10 minutes to get to my gate spot(luckily just within view) since I had spent so much time dawdling at Dazbog after grabbing my coffee, considering what I was hungry for. But the good folks at Woody Creek really snapped too and made me a fantastic AND delicious Italian Meatball Parmesan Panini, that I took with me onto my Southwest Fl 2570(along with my delicious Dazbog coffee, WHICH I later *spiked* with my complimentary little bottle of Bailey’s & Cream from SouthWest). So upon take-off, my tastebuds and I were LITERALLY flying, both INSIDE as well as on the jet. Oh yeah! THELOWDOWN Totally recommend grabbing a sandwich here for a 3 – 5 hours flight segment any SouthWest flight: especially since peanuts, pretzels, snacks, etc. aren’t always gonna do it for me.

Airport food can be very average, overpriced and served up with little enthusiasm. Not at Woody Creek Bakery & Café, however. Upon my arrival at the Woody counter, the cashier greeted me warmly and with a pleasant smile — thank you! After getting up at 3:30AM for my flight to Denver, it was nice to be met with a welcoming reception. Knowing my flights were going to leave me in the air during lunch, I ordered a mid-morning sandwich and a cup of coffee to wake me up. In homage to the mountain I live near at home(Mount Diablo), I ordered the El Diablo sandwich — an egg salad concoction with chipotle sauce, bacon and a few slices of jalapeño on some delicious sliced bread. Wow, it was really good… excellent, in fact. I’m not often«wowed» by airport food, but the El Diablo was heavenly :)) I may have to stop by on my return trip home. Oh, and I can’t forget about the chocolate chip cookie I found in my lunch sack. Nice touch. Gotta give Woody’s a solid 4 stars! BTW, the sliced jalapeño was delicious– not overwhelming or fiery — try it, you’ll love it.

I’ve been here a fair number of times, and always had a good experience. Inly ever had their salad, but that is always good. It can be a little bit pricey but it is airport food so you can’t really complain. This is my place of choice to stop when I’m at the Denver airport.

It was my first time here. I ended up getting the Orchard Bird and Berry Sandwich. I was surprised they give free cookie with the meal. The sandwich was very fulfilling. No flavor was slacking. The chicken was flavorful. The sliced apples were crispy. The cranberry sauce was yummy. I devoured it as if it were the best sandwich ever. The cookie is slightly big with lots of chocolate chip — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I’ll definitely be going here again whenever I’m at this airport.

This is a decent sandwich shop with fast service and a fair price for the airport. I was delighted when I pulled a mongo chocolate-chip cookie from the bag. I’m assuming that all sandwiches come with one. The turkey sandwich was short on turkey, with significantly less meat than Max’s(Oakland airport) would provide. Also the dressing was center loaded, making the inner bites a swampy mess and the outer bites desert dry. I dried my tears with a giant cookie. The best part about this eatery is its well concealed dining area in the back. It provides a view of the tarmac and planes, which in this instance allowed me to watch a Denver Fire Department drill.

This is really a 2 ½ review but Unilocal does not get into halves. We found the speed thru the line good and the pricing«airport high». The wrap I had was filling but not much taste however the bag of BBQ chips left much to be desired. The quantity was low and the flavor bland. I suggest the person responsible for the chips go and try what Jimmy John’s has to offer.

They have friendly service and awesome chocolate chip samples that they practically beg you to try. The mixed green salad is pretty good, I got the dressing on the side. The chicken is $ 2.50 extra and is that«fast food chicken» like Subway uses so you can pass on that unless you’re really wanting it. You do get a free cookie with the salad though so that’s a win. It’s nothing life changing or anything but more than okay for airport food.

I ordered the everything breakfast bagel. I thought it would be an «everything» bagel with egg, ham and cheese. It turns out the just have plain bagels. It was good, but nothing special. I also got an oatmeal raisin cookie and a snicker doodle cookie. The oatmeal raisin cookie was excellent, but the other was a bit crumbly and dry. On the other side, the cashier was very very nice. She held conversation and was funny. I enjoyed that since every other airport cashier seems like they hate their job. You get three stars for the food and five for service. Good job.

I came for breakfast — but amazing drink prices! If only my layover was later in the day. Did splurge on an Irish Coffee — but the draft beer prices are probably the best I’ve seen in the Denver airport. It’s on the second floor right at the end of Terminal B and has a wall of windows that make it feel more restaurant and less express/bar. Got the breakfast burrito — what a kick! Sat at the bar and got full service which was nice with time to burn. They had Sports Center on one television and The Today Show on the other — thankful for the AM variety. I’m a sports fan too — but at 7am a little bit of sports mixed with Matt Lauer morning tradition was nice. Bartender was warm inviting and attentive! Was debating between this and Wolfgang Puck Express and thankful for the sit down service at Woody Creek.

Very legit for airport food. I had the chicken walnut salad sandwich and it pretty good — large chunks of tender chicken, walnuts, and a really interesting bread with cranberries and stuff which tasted homemade. Not too mayo-y despite the fact that it was a chicken salad. Portions were really quite good for the price, again given that you are in an airport. And the free cookie was really, really good. Super tasty despite not being too greasy. With Itza Wrap, Itza Bowl closed, this seems like the clear choice for« Unilocal one star price» food in DIA terminal B.

This spot is better than a fast food chain if you have a minute to sit and eat. Bonus is the location which is above all the gates so you don’t have tons of people walking by all the time too. It’s kind of like a Specialty’s sandwich shop: sandwiches, soups, salads… not all grease which is nice. The line moves rather quickly, but it’s still really tough to hear the people working and that made things confusing for us. We ended up with 5 cookies in the end, but luckily they were good cookies — great for snacking later on the plane. There seems to be a little organizational problem here as we received part of our order and were missing a complete sandwich. The people who ordered after us started to almost block us off from the pick-up/payment area, but our sandwich finally arrived before it got too crazy. Overall, it’s better than a super salty and super heavy food choice for flying. If there’s something that looks appetizing on the menu as is, then you’ve got a good bet going here. If you want something modified, it probably won’t be correct(my husband requested a different bread, but ended up with what was on the menu — maybe they couldn’t hear him either, who knows!). If we have extra time when we’re in the Denver airport again, we wouldn’t avoid this spot. I do think we’d try to find something different first though. It’s A-OK…nothing cringe-worthy, and nothing spectacular either.

Hidden gem amongst the fast food in typical overpriced airports. It’s upstairs across from the Chinese place. They had salty onion soup but still tasty to me and very good chocolate chip cookies! The grilled cheese is pretty good in my opinion and it’s nice how they give you the bread option. Free cookie with very sandwich? Why not!

I am not sure however I think I can quote my wife and say«Those people are rude as hell» Yup, that sums it up, walk past this place and pick someone who wants your business. We just wanted a sandwich…

You get a free cookie! Food is ok for off brand airport food. They go heavy on the mayo. Staff is kinda rude… There’s a nice secluded eating area in the back though.

Eggs, bacon, potatoes okay and filling, but nothing special. Chai okay, but no almond milk! Really, in Boulder? Huh!

Okay the Salmon salad was delicious! I especially love that the dressing is on the side. I have to say for being at an airport the salmon was a good portion. Okay the real reason why I come here is for the cookies. If you buy three you get one for free. The service can improve a bit, but overall not so shabby.

While making my way home to the 808, I had a layover in Denver, CO… Upon landing at the Denver International Airport, I had a little time to kill. and I was still tired from last night so I decided to pick up some coffee. Upon walking around the Denver International airport, I find a food court area in the concourse C area. I first thought about going to McDonald’s but there was a massive line, and I didn’t want to deal with it. So I continued down the airport till I stumbled upon a bakery called — Woody Creek Bakery & Café. Upon walking up to the bakery, there were two lines, One line was for the café food, and the other was for the coffee & baked goods… guess what? Lucky me, as there was no line for the baked goods & coffee, so I decided to pickup a cup of coffee, and a few chocolate chip cookies. Upon paying… it came out to $ 7.26, a little expensive, but want to you expect for airport food? I must say the coffee was pretty good, but the chocolate chip cookies was not so good, as it was a bit hard and chewy(but that’s just a matter of my opinion). I don’t know why I bought the cookies, but I suspect since I saw the sign that said — «Buy 3 cookies, and get 1 free», the secret marketing got the best of me, or perhaps the Chinese kicked in, and got the best of me! Who knows! Lol! Well, at least I got my coffee… and a few cookies too!

Service was extremely slow! Umm hello, EVERYONEHEREHAS A FLIGHTTOCATCH. They do not have a good process, the cashier just says your order to the person next to her, without confirmation if they even heard it, maybe write it down and pass it along? My iced coffee with soy milk was 90% milk with a few drops of coffee, that’s not going to wake me up. I ordered a chicken parmesan thing, when I got to my flight(I had to munch this down on the plane since they ran so behind) I realized it was a meatball panini. One star for it tasting good despite not being what I ordered, another star for them giving you a free cookie with your order. Lack of stars for everything else.

Stop by here after Wolfgang Puck Express’ soup did not satisfy me, and Udi’s refused to sell me just a slice of bread(only whole loaves). Woody Creek’s options are more expandable, I got to pick a lunch combo of half a sandwich and a small café salad and they even threw in a fresh baked cookie! All for under $ 10. The Club sandwich didn’t have the flakiest croissant bread but at least it was substantial and the bacon slices were thick and cooked just right. The salad came with dressing on the side so I could take it with me on the plane. The cookie was soft and chewy, with chocolate chips still melting and oozing out, who can resist that? I’m going to stay at a DoubleTree hotel which is known for its cookies but I think these are not too far off! The staff at the ordering side were knowledgable(unlike Wolfgang’s who didn’t know the password to wifi and were just hanging around with not much to do) and helpful(unlike Udi’s who told me no no no to any question I asked). And the guys over at the payment station was even nicer! They greeted each customer and call them«boss», told them about the BOGO drink offer and pointed out the condiment/napkin/plastic-ware station. When I’m done with my lunch I asked for a bag to pack leftovers, I was given a nice paper tote which would follow me through my trip as a reminder this Colorado bakery had heart!
