Wild Eggs is like serious breakfast stoner food. My sister and I had planned on a hearty breakfast before our bike ride, but this proved to be a bit too much. We even had to stop by our airbnb to drop off leftovers. Sister ordered Kalamity Katy’s Benedict– chile corn cakes topped with poached eggs and queso with pico and avocado. It came with potatoes and a muffin, as well. I ordered breakfast nachos. Both were crazy delicious. Eggs were perfect on both dishes. The restaurant was pretty big and we were seated right away. There is a distinct diner feel to it with efficient service. The cook even came out from the kitchen to check to see how we liked the dishes. Maybe he thought it was odd that we ordered everything without meat. Make sure you come hungry.

Sure it looks like chain restaurant executive board members tried to guess what the word ‘retro’ would look like but the food is really good. Wild shroom scramble with goat was cooked perfectly. The lox hollandaise was on point but the side of potatoes and grits missed the mark. Good muffin, no paleo. Drinks were good if your in the mood for the boozy Sunday brunch and if you can handle the Denver Sunday brunch wait. Free coffee helped… me realized that 45 minutes builds an appetite.

Only complaint here is I had to dump eggs and sauce on my grits(a small side) to get them to taste good. Service was quick and the food was amazing! in the same leauge as alot of denver’s best breakfast spots and not quite as impossible to get a table at. I ordered Lox eggs Benedict and wasnt dissapointed in the slightest. Breakfast nachos were great, even though the chorizo could have been more compelling(spicier maybe?) 4.5 stars, nothing to be avoided here.

New to the area and have been trying out a bunch of different breakfast spots. This place has been my favorite so far. I had the Mr Potato head casserole. It was so amazing! Id never had anything like it before. The cream sauce on top was so rich and delicious. Definitely will be coming back to try some of the other breakfast offerings.

Came into Wash Park looking for an apartment and found an apartment *and* an incredible brunch spot. Wild Eggs has such an expansive menu, it will please any group of brunchers— whether traditional(pancakes, waffles), regional(chilaquiles!), or alternative(burgers!). It’s bright, clean, efficient, reasonably priced, and just dang delicious. I haven’t been able to stay away from the breakfast nachos, and can you blame me? They’re called breakfast nachos for crying out loud. They also have on-site parking, which is a bonus, and a small bar with ESPN for those eating breakfast alone… which sometimes, we all have to do. I’m a big fan. Pro-tip: Come before 9:30am on Saturday if you want to avoid a wait.

It was a cold, snowy Sunday, so looking forward to a nice brunch. The food might have been good if hot, but no such luck. We ordered a cinnamon roll for the table. The little skillet was too hot to touch and the icing melted – the roll stone cold. The rest of the food was barely lukewarm. We were on a schedule so did not have time to send the food back. Disappointing.

My favorite breakfast place in Colorado. I wish their business hours are longer. I usually wake up around 2pm and can’t make it there on time

Got the Eggs gone wild Benedict. Perfect for breakfast. Friend had the steak and eggs, steak was a little over cooked but still great.

I had breakfast here recently and found the food to be quite good — maybe not as upscale and imaginative as someplace like Sassafras, but definitely with a good menu and lots of interesting things to choose from. I perused the menu and decided on the ‘Kalamity Katie’s Border Benedict’(Green chili cheddar corn cakes, topped with chorizo, two poached eggs and queso fundido, pico de gallo, sour cream, green onions and avocado. Skillet potatoes and an Everything muffin). Everything was fresh, tasty, and well-cooked. Maybe the muffin was a bit of overkill considering the Benedict comes on what is the equivalent of corn bread(I’ll see about subbing something for it next time). The restaurant was clean and neat. My main impression, though, was that it needed something like maybe more pictures on the walls or big graphics or something. And maybe small vases of flowers on the table. It needed something. It’s a bit spare in appearance(i.e. boring). Service was friendly, although just a tad slow(nothing major, but it was noted). This was mid-week and the place was only moderately busy(but maybe there was a shortage of servers?). My server didn’t ask me if I wanted a refill on my iced tea(tsk tsk). Nonetheless, I’d eat here again. For good food, I can deal with a little slow service. And if I’d really wanted more iced tea, I would have asked for it…

A girlfriend of mine suggested Wild Eggs for our monthly brunch. I had only seen it a few times driving past, but haven’t tried it out yet. I was the first to arrive and ordered a pitcher of mimosas to start. Glancing over the menu, I changed my mind about 50 times. I am trying to be healthy and eat better, so I was leaning towards the farmers market skillet. I ended up going with a special that they had that week that was an omelet with ham, peppers and topped with cheese and avocado. The dish came with a muffin and skillet potatoes. The pitcher of mimosas was was too much. It is good if you are sharing with 5 or more people, but for 2, it was difficult to finish. The omelet was very tasty. Fresh ingredients and the avocado made this omelet perfect! Great little brunch spot for groups or a table of 2. I recommend checking this place out.

I’ve had the country fried steak and eggs and it was really delicious. However, I have two gripes. One, the drinks are way too expensive for what you get. I ordered a mimosa priced at $ 6.99 a drink and received a mini champagne flute sized cocktail. Rip off. Second, we were seated at the bar area. We were in the middle of eating our food, when the manager came over, asking the typical«how’s your food?» question. Then he asked us to move one seat over, so that he could fit two people next to us. There were other people at the bar area that could have been made to move over as they hadn’t received their food yet. This was bullshit. We had to move our two entrees and multiple beverages one stool over while in the middle of fricking eating! There was some spillage and a fricking mess from moving our plates and not a single attempt was made by the manager to help clean it up. Thanks for the ruined, over priced breakfast!

How have I not been to Wild Eggs yet?! I actually know why, it’s because I was on the Lucile’s bandwagon for the longest time and Wild Eggs is across the street. I will never speak ill on Lucile’s because it is still one of my favorites, but now I have discovered another option in the neighborhood when the wait at Lucile’s is too long. We walked over around lunch time on a Saturday and we were expecting there to be a wait. To our surprise there was not a wait at all and we were seated immediately. I was even more surprised by the fact they have adult drinks! I don’t really see brunch as truly brunch unless there are mimosas and breakfast drinks! The waitress came over right away and took our drink order. I went with just a regular mimosa this time, they had other options for mimosa flavors. They also had Bloody Mary’s, screwdrivers, and even some warm coffee liqueur drinks. The drink was awesome and full of flavor. I needed extra time to look at the menu because there was SO much on it. They had so many options and I kept having to go back and forth between a bunch of different options. I finally settled on the Kalamity Kate’s Benny and it was awesome! I don’t eat meat so I asked for the chorizo on the side. The everything muffin that came on the side was also really yummy! There was so much flavor in all the food and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly. I cant wait to go back and try some of the other options I was leaning toward. The ambiance is fun and lively. The clientele is random, lots of families, couples, and big groups of friends. The music is good too, it was a mix of some classic rock/Beatles. Overall, a great experience.

My family and I ended up here because we didn’t want to wait for over an hour at Lucille’s. We ended up being very impressed with this place. Our server was wonderful-upbeat, confident and attentive but not overwhelmingly so– so major ups to her. I’m not sure of her name, but she was pretty and had dark upswept hair and fun eye makeup. The menu is so unique and varied that it’s hard to choose! I ordered the lox benedict-if you enjoy lox and cream cheese this is extremely delicious. and it was extremely tasty, as well as the spicy grits that came with the meal(you can also order them non-spicy). My brother ordered a burrito, he isn’t really the type to comment on food but he ate everything on his plate, so it’s safe to say he enjoyed it. My dad had the frito bandito fritata and made several comments about how good it was. My mom ordered the stuffed wild berry crepes and made comments about how she enjoyed the food from Wild Eggs more than Lucille’s. I agreed. The ambience is sort of like a diner but a bit better. The noise level is about average. There is a small bar with a T.V. usually featuring a sports game, but the noise level is far from obnoxious. The wait time is minimal– 10 minutes at brunch time on a Sunday compared with Lucille’s 60+ minute wait. I will definitely go back.

Amazing quick service. Great relaxed vibe — light and airy colors very welcoming space. And the food is delicious. I had their wild mushroom and goat cheese omelette and wow! That was so good. One of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been to. Portions are nice not too much or too little but very filling. I will def come back again soon and of course the next time I visit Denver!

I came here with my friend, her husband, and her two little ones, and we all loved it! The ambiance for the place had a nice flowing energy and lots of fun, quirky, egg-themed decorations. I appreciated having the free coffee while waiting and was happy to pay for more once we were seated. The service was very attentive, and the food came out relatively quickly. The poor folks at the host station had to deal with my random questions while waiting but were super friendly about it. In terms of the food, my friend and I shared the Mr. Potato Head and Kalamity Katie’s Border Benedict. These were difficult decisions on our parts, as everything on the menu looked so good. The Mr. Potato Head was super cheesy and had a nice sauté of fresh vegetables. The Kalamity Katie’s Border Benedict was just insane! It was a bit hard to slide off the plate for sharing, as the green chili cheddar corn cakes were kind of crumbly. It was all a flavor explosion in the mouth with the mix of queso, green chili, perfectly poached eggs, chorizo, and the sweet, buttery texture of the corn cakes. Both of us just kept eating and eating and cleaned both plates with high satisfaction. Even the sides were good. I ended up finishing the potatoes and the Everything Muffin(it’s a muffin that is savory and has what goes in an everything bagel) which is a rare occasion on my end. Her husband enjoyed his breakfast plate, and her kids liked their pancaked and breakfast plate. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely mark it among my favorite brunch places in Denver.

This was my first visit to this place and everything was great! I had the *Kelsey«KY» Brown. Its toasted sourdough bread, roasted turkey, applewood smoked bacon, diced tomato, white cheddar Mornay, scrambled eggs and smoked paprika. It was lick the plate clean delicious! This place is alot bigger on the inside then what you would imaging from just seeing the outside. Everything was egg themed from the pictures on the wall to the salt and pepper shakers. The service from both the hostess and the waitress was fast and friendly and the whole seating area was clean and the seats were comfortable. If given a chance to choose between this place and Snooze(Colorado blvd). Id pick this place hands down, no question!

First time trying Wild Eggs. Not that impressed. It seemed very noisy to me. Greeted with ftiendly hostesses. I had the southern apple bourbon crepes. It was a little sweet for me. I enjoyed the chopped apples blended with the cream cheese. It was topped with bourbon sauce. candied pecans and big dolup of whip cream sprinkled with cinnamon. It was flavorful but sweet.

Had a solid brunch. For a Sunday the wait was not too bad. The wait staff were attentive without being pushy or over the top. The food was good, not the best but definitely a place I would visit again.

The food here was really good. Unexpectedly good for a breakfast place. Unique flavors and menu variety. I had the Chilaquiles. I am only giving 3 stars here though because the service was so slow. We were here at 11:30AM on a Monday and it wasn’t very busy. The hostess was gracious in getting us drinks but we waited at least 15 – 20 mins for our server. Our server who was very nice, explained that she had been sat several tables at once. The slowness continued… there were three of us and it took our food quite a while to arrive. Then our bill was slow to arrive… In the end we were there for almost 2 hours. I would go here again because of their food, and with the hope that service would be more efficient!

This place is very good! Obviously it appeals to people who like eggs for breakfast but they have tons of other stuff to try! It was tough to finally pick something! Our server was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. They have an appealing looking bar although I did not end up ordering a breakfast drink. The ambiance is in between a standard breakfast establishment and Snooze. This place is large. I came here on a Monday morning so it was pretty empty, I imagine it gets fairly busy on weekends. Great menu, prices, staff, and atmosphere. We will definitely be back! But damnit, we forgot to order a pumpkin pancake when it was fall time. I bet it’s gone now :(
