A few weeks ago, I took an out of town employee of mine to the hospital(it was a driver who had to be routed into Denver since he was having an allergic reaction). With that visit, he needed to get medicine. I knew this was the closest Walgreens to work, so off we went. He told me he had had CVS Caremark for prescriptions(same as me, keep that in mind). Mind you, the last time I checked, there were no CVS in Denver. I told him we will give it a shot anyways. When we walked in, I was shocked at the layout of the store. It was nice. Slate flooring, modern technology, not the old school pharmacies I am used to seeing(you can tell how often I go to them). The aesthetics were impressive, to say the least. We headed back to prescriptions, and handed him his info. No issues with his card at all. Armed with that knowledge, I knew I will be coming to Walgreen’s if I ever needed to fill a scrip. Yesterday morning, the time had came. I came in, gave the pharmacist my info, and had my stuff updated. Guess she(the pharmacist) was having an off day. She told me it would be a few minutes. So I walked around the store looking to see if I could stock up on anything. One thing I noticed that every row I wanted to walk down, the shelf stockers were down. Can’t buy anything if the damn aisle is blocked! Grr. I then heard my name on the intercom. Went back to pick up my meds. She told me my scrip group wasn’t covered under the plan. I explained to her the reason why I came here was because I took an employee here with the same card. I wasn’t even going to fight it, I mean I just got out of the hospital– I just wanted my shit and wanted to get some sleep. Then she was trying to get me set up with rewards. She couldn’t get my phone number right either. Who even knows what phone number I have set up. And, when I saw my meds, I noticed my updated address wasn’t even correct. I called my mom, she said she uses Walgreen’s all the time with her scrip card(she too, has the same insurance). Armed with all of this knowledge, I mailed my receipt to CVS Caremark last night, hoping to get a claim, and telling me where in a f-ing 50 mile radius I can fill my scrips– because I tell you what, I won’t be wasting my time here ever again!

I’ve been in a number of times and the staff there are really nice. Today I went to pick up some photos and had a coupon. The system wouldn’t take it but they called in two different people to help and sorted it out. I’ll use this Walgreens again.

Excellent service! Our son had surgery today and they met us at the door with a wheelchair and took us around the store. Very gracious people throughout the store.

I still give this Walgreens pharmacy five stars. This three-star review is for the store itself. Yesterday I stopped in for a small bag of dog food and some OTC sinus stuff. This store is never overly crowded(like the anxiety-inducing situation at the 16th Street Mall location) so I knew I could get in and out fast. With my hand-carried basket(NOT a shopping cart) I found the aisle with Pets items and turned to head into it. BOOM! A shelf-stocker, complete with cart, et al, totally blocking access to the aisle(an aisle which, to be fair, also contains the holiday stuff). Fine. I did not want to get in his way, so I went down the next aisle intending to swing around and enter the Pets aisle from the opposite end. BOOM! Another holiday shelf-stocker complete with cart, et al, totally blocking the aisle. Not fine. I really, really needed one bag of training pads. So, I indicated to this shelf-elf, by demonstrating no plans to abort my mission, that I *was* going down«her» aisle. I kid you not; via her body language, she attempted to indicate she had no plans to allow me to pass. I indicated that I was going to pass no matter what. She SIGHEDLOUDLY and begrudgingly moved her cart out of the way. Hey, I get that it’s Christmas time. I worked in retail for EIGHTYEARS and I still have nightmares. I’m firmly in touch with the fact that customers can make your job really really difficult. But properly trained staff do not indicate this displeasure TO or INFRONTOF their customers. They do it while drunk, with co-workers, after work, in a bar. Like normal people. I’m giving three stars instead of one(or zero) because the guy at checkout was friendly, helpful and awesome. Fa la la la la la la la la.

This is an everything store, much like I imagine Walgreens used to be, perhaps. They’ve got a small grocery section, even some fresh fruits and vegetables. There’s one of everything on the shelves. The depth of selection is limited but how many different choices for boxed macaroni do you really need? It’s laid out differently than most Walgreens, to its credit I feel. There’s more light and much less of that underground bunker feeling you get at most Walgreens. It’s very clean and the staff is very courteous. It’s also much less stressful than a regular grocery or department store, or even other Walgreens. Less crowded and angry.

Yes another Walgreens. This Walgreens is situated at a very busy street and intersection. Its is situated Northwest Corner Of COLORADOBLVD&35THAVE. Thank God for Traffic Lights! Good if you have the Walgreens Card aka«Balance Rewards» since from there you can save several dollars from your purchases. All in all definitely a CLEAN store, and the staffs are willing to assist you in any shape or form. Good to purchase items that are made under their own Brand name though I do not fancy the food items etc etc. All in all decent items though I cannot deny the pricing on certain items can be higher compared to Walmart, Target, King Soopers etc etc. Yes they have a little grocery section if you are INNEED to purchase those. Yes they have a parking space. All in all, another Walgreens in town, though I SOWISH, IF and ONLYIF, this Walgreens location can be open 24 hours, in which I doubt so… *SIGH* & *SADFACE* But now I am a little confuse, perhaps due to the different zip code listing. In the Walgreens website, the zip code that this Walgreens is listed, it is Denver, CO80207, but thru Unilocal it is Denver, CO80205. Both CO80207 and CO80205 happens to be next to each other. If only someone can verify this, it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
