I don’t know what the deal is, but we’ve had a terrible time with services in Denver… until today. I received a call yesterday from Kim reminding me of my scheduled appointment to have our swamp cooler serviced today. The technician, Ben, was on time, courteous and explained everything that he was doing. Our lines had holes in them from winter, so he replaced them. The power was shorting out, so he figured it out — which was no easy feat. He had to try several things, as it goes with things-mechanical, but he didn’t give up. Anytime something was going to cost more, he let me know. He was here for 5 hours, replaced lines, the pump, and figured out what was wrong with our wires in our thermostat and put on a new rain cap for $ 349. I know other places this would have cost $ 600+. I love that this company employs veterans as well, feels great to be able to actually contribute to a cause you feel is important!

In 2011, our 30+ year old furnace finally gave out. We didn’t have the money to replace the unit. It was snowing. We were cold! We called Veteran’s Green Jobs, and a very nice man named Walt came out to diagnose the problem. The unit had a cracked heat exchanger. While he was able to get it up and running, it only lasted for a few days. Thankfully, Walt had already ordered a nice, new 95% efficiency model and had it scheduled to be installed immediately. When the old unit died 3 days later, Walt came out with his crew and installed the new unit. A few months later, another crew came to the house and installed new insulation – this house had zero insulation when we purchased it in 2007, and we have never had the money to rectify that situation. Thank you very much, Veteran’s Green Jobs! Your teams are always courteous, on-time and knowledgeable.
