My company is only a couple blocks away from here and we usually take vendors here for lunch. We walked in with a party of 8 one evening for happy hour and they freaked out because we didn’t make a reservation. There were perhaps 6 other total customers in the place and it was just 5:00. We ordered aps — they were horrible, the garlic was raw!!! not roasted, who puts raw garlic on Brusetta? We ordered 4 pizzas. The topings were almost non existant. I scrapped all the toppings off two slices of pizza and got maybe a fork full of actual food. I think they were all bent out of shape because a party of 8 came in without a reservation so they took out their frustrations on the food quality. I do not recommend this place and we will never take vendors here again.

Very disappointed. Did order from a 3rd party but that is no excuse for it taking 1.5hrs to get my food and it was cold! Plus it looked like someone pulled it apart already. I’m the most disappointed it was cold I shouldn’t have to reheat the food. The delivery person was very nice and friendly. Also the pizza didn’t look like a 10″ So I guess I would say dine in do not waste money ordering from here unless you don’t mind waiting and you like your pizza cold

This one was a mix of good and bad… I really wanted to have a great experience here so I could give 5 stars, because I have been to another Pasquini’s location and really liked it. If I were to rate the food on its own, I’d give 4 stars. The complimentary bread sticks, soaked in butter and sprinkled with parmesan cheese… I think I could live on those! I had the chicken pesto calzone and I would order it again in a heart beat. It was full of wholesome vegetables, the chicken was seasoned beautifully, and it had a hearty quality that left me very satisfied. The only critique I can offer is that the bottom layer of pastry was a little underdone, as if it needed a few more minutes in the oven. The service, however, was where the experience fell down. If I were rating on service alone, I could give 2 stars at most. We came on a Friday evening, and I suppose it’s possible the restaurant was understaffed for such a busy time. Regardless, it’s up to them to prepare properly. Mainly, the service was slow and neglectful. It took quite some time to get from menus to ordering. We watched this also happen at nearby tables: at one, a couple sat without being greeted for so long that they got up and walked across the dining room to speak with a server; at another, a couple of women with four small children waited for so long that the kids started throwing tantrums because they were so hungry. Our water glasses were not refilled even once. The thing that irked me the most, though, was that someone in our party ordered a bar drink that never came. That’s inexcusable to me. When something did show up at the table it was correct, but it seemed a struggle to get it there. Honestly, we would have ordered more drinks and even dessert if we’d been given the opportunity, but there was never someone there to take that order. No one asked how the food was or if we wanted anything else. It’s sad, but the poor service literally cost the restaurant money that we had been planning to spend there. We left and spent our dessert money at Sweet Action instead. I struggled with whether to give 2 or 3 stars in this review. In the end, I decided to give the benefit of the doubt. The food was honestly good, and I suppose it’s possible that the service was a fluke that night.

We went in for dinner, and when we ordered wine, the server was relieved since they were almost«all out of beer». They only had 3 wines available — all red… so we went with a Chianti. We had a larger group coming with us, and it seemed like every drink that was ordered was not available, but luckily we have alcoholic friends that will drink just about anything with booze in it. Once we all got our drinks, we ordered food. They were out of many toppings and the wheat dough, too — I find it odd to be out of so many things in a restaurant. There are people out there that would have just left at this point, but we worked with the server to just order what they DID have. We knew it wasn’t HIS fault. We got the pizza and were less than excited. We ordered a margherita, and there was nothing cooked on the pizza except the bread. Raw onions, cold chunks of cheese, fresh tomato bits, etc — really disgusting. I ate one piece of the small and threw the rest away. Plus, the bread — OMG so filling. I wish I would have just ordered more free breadsticks and skipped the pizza altogether. Very tentative service, but horrible selection — and very disappointing food quality. Save your money — go elsewhere!

Homemade food perhaps, but not stellar. And certainly not worth the prices charged for the entrée. Side salads are huge, but I’d rather have my entrée price go to better quality ingredients. I literally saw my girlfriend deflate when they served her ravioli on a chipped plate and with zero thought to presentation. The wines are lackluster and we left before ordering dessert, one of the reasons we had even gone there. The service was just decent once somebody seemed to realize we had been seated. The waiters didn’t wear any type of uniform which is no biggie, except one had his jeans almost falling off and his long hair down. Our waiter seemed stoned or very out of it. This was just an overall dismal experience. We left our full glasses of wine and went elsewhere for another glass and dessert.

Spent $ 25 for a burnt delivery pizza. Very disappointed. It took over an hour for the pizza to be delivered. When it arrived it was cold and burnt. I used to like Pasquini’s but I won’t buy pizza there again.

I have been frequenting pasquini’s since I was a kid with my parents. I am home visiting and I took my mom there for lunch. We had a groupon deal and sometimes businesses don’t like to bother with coupons but our waitress Kacie was great. I let her know we had a groupon and she was like no problem! My mom and I had a dynamite kale pizza, salad and napoleons! How fabulous! I always get the veggie calzone but it was fun to step outside of the norm. When it came time to pay I loaded the groupon on my phone, handed her my phone and she showed her manager and the discount was applied! It was soo easy and now I have a new favorite thing on their menu! Thanks Kacie and thanks pasquini’s!

I ordered online, and thought that place was a lot closer than it was to my place. Delivery took an additional 20 minutes, but given it was a further location than I had thought, I wasn’t bothered by this. The food was decent(plus). Nothing to gush over, but better than standard Italian. I felt the breadsticks were tough and after I put a ton parmesan on the spaghetti, it was amazing. This is nothing against the sauce, as the cheese(in my view) helps overall but you should still be able to taste the spices of the sauce(which you could). I still have a pizza left to reheat and eat sometime this week, and it looks good(but pretty standard).

I’ve never been so infuriated with a restaurant in my life. I never use Unilocal, but I will tonight. I walked in with my wife, and sat around for 15 minutes with no service. Go to this place at your own risk. Worst restaurant ever.

The meal started out good with some tasty bread sticks and a solid antipasto. Then it all went south. I asked if I could order the stuffed shells with butter sauce because tomato sauce bothers my stomach. The waiter told me sure but when my entrée arrived it had tomato sauce. The waiter took it back and told me they would make me a new one with butter. I was kind of full and didn’t want my friend to wait while I ate, so I told him to make it to go. When I got back home, I opened it up and it was obvious all they did was try to wash the tomato sauce off and then add butter. The result was disgusting and inedible. I’ve never had the urge to write a review before but this was extremely unprofessional and I though I would share my dissatisfaction.

I felt like I did something wrong when I showed the server, AND manager(blue eyes, blonde hair) my phone with the Unilocal app Deal«they» are offering. I have not left a restaurant before I ordered in a very very very long time, and that was because it was dirty. No, this place was visually clean, actually that’s what our server did the entire time we were looking at the menu. I was extremely excited to try some of their libations and had a few questions. Our waiter was just walking around cleaning the tables. I guess it was for the dinner rush, because we were literally the only ones there. So I get the waiter to come over and activate my 10% off deal from my phone. The waiter looked like a dear in the headlights from back in Michigan when I was showing it to him. He told me he has not seen that himself. So I continued to show him how it said click to use now. I continued to click«Use now» and he still looked confused. I say are we going to be able to get the discount? He says, Well I have to go talk to the manager. Okay, I say, please do. He comes back saying I needed to show that coupon to him, then he will go show it to his manager in back and theeen they will verify it??? Huh??? I’m starting to get mad being I was a manager in a bar/restaurant that I worked at for 10 years! Why did the manager not come out in the first place? No WAY in He** am I going to give some guy my phone to take into the back office where I cannot see??? Dunno. So I ask for the manager and he explained that the coupon could’ve already been activated! Okay, but it wasn’t and your guy was looking right at my phone. It’s your coupon from your business, why not educate your staff in it then? What else are they not trained in, I wonder? What topped it off was out waiter was not even standing with the manager when I was addressing how I was showing him the phone. No, he was busy, again, wiping down the empty booth behind us. The manager was getting upset with me, soooooo… Long long story short the manager was mad and I left, it was not a pretty scene I would guess. ;) I will never never never go here again or tell anyone I know about it. Do yourself a favor and head down to the Art Bar just south of there!!!

Nope. Ordered the chicken parm sandwich to go since Peyton Manning really had me wanting one. It’s a fillet of frozen chicken with a slice a parm cheese on a soft bun(not even toasted). No sauce??? It was so dry and disappointing. I’m not sure why they didn’t put sauce on this sandwich, but it makes it inedible. I will never give them my hard earned $$$ again!

Decent food. Really bad service… no one checked back on us and it took an hour to get food. Everyone around us had food, ate, and many had left by the time they brought out mini pizza, lasagne, and kids’ ravioli. No discount from the manager, with employees who barely seem to care. Not a 6way to get repeat business!

Meant to go to a restaurant across the street but was too busy so we came here. Nobody was at front when we walked in and we decided to seat ourselves and got a little comment from a guy waiting saying«for future reference we will seat you», no big deal. Marquis our waiter was nice brought us breadsticks and sauce right away. We ordered a salad and pizza between the two of us but didn’t mention we were splitting it. Still he brought it to us on two plates which was great! Very attentive to refills and anything we needed. Nice environment. If we weren’t passing through town I would say I’d be back. 5⁄5 stars for marquis! Pizza was good, wouldn’t say it was to die for but still very good! On a side note: funny we got Broncos tumblers for our drinks and were from Seattle and hardcore Seahawks fans. :)

This is bizarre to me. This restaurant has a pretty strong name and is well known in the area, every time I go in there, the place has seats full. The staff is super cool, its a fun and lively environment, the food is pretty damn good, and you get big ass portions. Why does this restaurant only have three stars? There must be a BUNCHOFHATERS in the neighborhood. To my points above, every time I have been here I have had nothing to complain about. It is definitely not an average restaurant. I leave full, satisfied, and happy that I spent my money there. To all the people that hate on the Original Pasquini’s… get a grip. This place is one of the gems in your neighborhood! I’ll definitely be back!

Wow how this place has gone downhill. I used to love this place. It was quaint, friendly attentive staff and great food. It’s been a while since I’ve been near the original location and so yesterday I was nearby and decided to stop in. Service was horrible. The waiter never filled up out ice tea, left every dirty plate on the table. I had a dinner salad with the orange vinaigrette dressing and it was flavorless. Then I ordered my favorite pesto chicken pizza and the chicken was dry, hardly any pesto. It was not good. So disappointed. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Update: After I wrote the first review Pasquini’s sent me a gift certificate and an invitation to try again. It took me a year to go back — I don’t like to waste my time or appetite on sub-par food, even if it’s free. But I had loved this place over the decades so I took the freebie and a friend for lunch. Once again, not especially inspiring, At least the salad greens seemed somewhat fresh this time, but I don’t even remember what I ordered… What I do remember is staring out the windows at Maria’s Empanada across the street and thinking«Why am I not over there?» UPDATE6÷9÷15 If you’ve read this far you know I’m not a huge fan and I won’t be back but I thought I’d share my daughter’s experience from last night. She had just finished a walk through Wash Park and everyone was hungry for dinner so they picked up a pizza to go. In her words they«were starving until I found a hair baked into the pizza ! Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, freakin pasquini’s» Of course they weren’t going to drive all the way back for a refund or whatever but honestly — this kind of sloppiness and lack of caring is why they are half empty. Pay attention, Pasquini’s !!! Do you really want to be in business or are you looking for some kind of tax write-off? Stay Away People.

We had a good experience her last night. Service was courteous and friendly and the server was really accommodating of our time crunch(so much traffic coming from the Springs to Denver!) which we really appreciated. We sat upstairs and there was plenty of room on a Friday night around 6:30. We appreciated the free garlic bread sticks which I thought were a little dry, but I loved the sweetness and taste of the pizza sauce! We also ordered pizza rolls and they were terrific. We would all totally order those again, and appreciate the Unilocal reviews that recommended them! The pesto pasta was very good. It came with a salad that had cheese and mushrooms on it which was a surprise for a house salad. My husband’s salad also had black olives. The salad came with a small piece of very dry white bread. My husband got the ravioli and thought it was very tasty. Our friends ordered calzones and thought they were fantastic. The restroom upstairs was pretty yucky and the water never turned off. It grossed me out for a while after being in there. I was SOOO bummed that we didn’t get to try the desserts. I picked the place(through a dessert) specifically because of the dessert menu, but we just didn’t have time. They looked great, though!

Pros: Lasagna — Decent portion, tastes pretty good Small Chicken Caesar Salad — Perfect portion size, crunchy croutons Cons: Pizza — Too skimpy on the sauce, not enough toppings. For the price, I expect my pizza to be good, not just a circle of dry crust with nearly non-existent toppings. Breadsticks — Bland and the butter topping does not taste like butter. I think it’s margarine. Service — Slow Ranch dressing — Yuck. Tastes like cheap, store bought stuff. Ranch is the easiest and cheapest dressing to make. Why any restaurant would use store bought crap is beyond me.

Average. If you like the Olive Garden, I am confident you will like it here, as menu choices, portion sizes and style are similar. Wouldn’t recommend for foodies. I haven’t been here in years. I love the«new» patio, semi-indoor/outdoor seating area. Great to be able to be almost sitting outside but not have to be directly in the sun. Note: this comes with a lot of flies and bugs to keep you company during your meal. Value for the money was okay. $ 13 for eggplant parm got you a huge iceberg salad with peppers, tomatoes, and olives(props for shredded mozzarella on top) and a healthy portion of eggplant parm. I didn’t care for the fact that the eggplant parm was drowning in marinara sauce(although I appreciated the thickness and chunkiness of the sauce), however I am sure a lot of people like it this way. Good flavor and I appreciated the ample amount of melted mozzarella between the eggplant layers, just enough to not overpower the eggplant. Baileys cheesecake: good, creamy… but I didn’t taste any baileys. I liked the Oreo crust. Basil lime margarita: below average. I didn’t taste much tequila and it didn’t have much basil flavor, since all they did was top the drink with a teaspoon or so of chopped basil. It left much to be desired.
