Yummy paninis! Best ice cream ever. You get to create your own flavor since they make it right with with liquid nitrogen. Refreshing!

How is this place CLOSED?! One of the only decent(fairly inexpensive, tasty, healthy-ish, no giant lines/wait) eateries in the area. :( I WILLMISSYOURICECREAM.

This place is truly a hidden gem. Maybe not so hidden as I may have missed the boat on this one. Found it now and never letting go of these panini’s and the liquid nitrogen ice cream. We have been twice now and everything is great. We have had: The #1 Panini: Shredded Pork, Bacon, Green Chilies, Queso Fresco, Chipotle Aioli The #2 Panini: Pastrami, Sauerkraut, Swiss, Ancho 1000’nd island The #4 Panini: Chicken, Basil Pesto, Arugula, Red Onion, and Provolone The #5 Panini: CheeseSteak, American Cheese, Mushroom, Onion, Roasted Garlic — but with no mushrooms, Sam doesn’t do mushrooms Did I mention we also had the«Create Your Own Ice Cream»!! Sam had Chocolate with chocolate chips, peanuts, and peanut butter. I don’t dare tell you my concoction since it was so fabulous and I don’t want people to steal my idea. Alright, I’ll tell you. I made my own surprise with lemon, raspberries, and honey. OMG — It’s the bomdigity! Everything we’ve had thus far is sublime! This place is warm and has an eclectic variety of comfy chairs and tables. If you’re looking for reading material look no further, you can enjoy Westworld, Indulge, and many others. This is a great place to hang out and enjoy a lazy afternoon with good reading material and heavenly food.

One of my favorite local eateries in Denver. Their home made croutons are delicious. Huge variety and delicious salads. I had the Eggplant salad, while the dressing was light, it was quiet good. Next time I would not ask for peppers.

I still keep coming back for the #5 Bagel — pork green chili and cheese(ADD egg) on a jalepeno cheddar bagel! If this isn’t one of the best breakfast concoctions around — I don’t know what is! The owner, John, is always super nice and friendly, and will help you satisfy your craving with any of his delicious food combinations! I still stand by my original review that this place also has amazing salads! They have this one salad that has asparagus, arugula, turkey(I don’t even remember everything else that’s in it), but it truly is one of the BEST salads I have eaten. It’s not something I would probably make at home because of the variety of ingredients — which gives me another excuse to roll over to the Crushery and feed my cravings. PLUS — this past time I was in, I saw that the deliver if you are close!!! Oh! And they have free Wi-Fi if you are down to get some work done or cruise the net while you enjoy your grub!

I ordered a salad, trying to eat more veggies. I got the salad with turkey, ham, bacon, asparagus and some brie cheese. It was tossed in an herb vinaigrette. The portion was HUGE, but I ate it all. I think it was missing maybe something sweet, like a few candied pecans to combine all the flavors. He had the bagel sandwich with turkey and cheese. He didn’t know it was going to pressed, so ask if you just it want it cold. Now for the best part. They customize every ice cream order! There’s a kitchen aid and liquid nitrogen working together. With countless combinations, we decided to split the cream based with caramel, sea salt and pistachios. So salty, but so delicious. I can’t wait to try another combination. They have ginger, chocolate, lavender, honey, coconut, the list goes on and on. One of the best ice cream places in Denver, and they have stuffed brownies!

Shopping on Pearl Street, the time slowly crept towards the lunch hour and I needed a place to eat. I have heard great things about The Crushery so thought it was the perfect time to check it out. I was not sure what to order but with one glance at a couple of huge salads being shipped out to a table nearby, my mind was made up. My mom went for the panini of the day and I customized my own salad with chicken, brie, lemon thyme croutons, artichoke, sundried tomato, cucumber and herb vinaigrette. We had one of the«Eat Denver» cards that gets you 10 bucks off an order of $ 25 or more so we added on some liquid nitrogen ice cream to up our total. It wasn’t crowded even in the middle of the afternoon so we had our choice of seating in the breezy dining area. The only downside were all the flies swarming about but I tried to ignore them as much as possible. Our food took a little bit to make because they only had a couple guys making orders for at least 4 tables but when our food did come out we were amazed by the size of the sandwich and salad. Both were absolutely delicious. The basil pesto and turkey sandwich she got was perfectly pressed and I was amazed by how soft the bread was, definitely not the kind of sandwich that leaves your mouth all cut up which I always hate. As for my salad, everything tasted fresh and I could not help but be enamored by the thick slices of brie framing the plate. We both went home with half of ours because we had to save room for the ice cream. While you can customize it 10,000 ways, we went with the original base with chocolate syrup, peanut butter and sea salt sprinkled on top. This creamy combination was heavenly and we both left with huge smiles on our faces. There is no doubt I’ll be back here and this time I’ll have to try one of their stuffed brownies that just sounds too good to be true. Although after one meal here, I’m sure these guys can make the impossible happen.

The Crushery is a indie restaurant on S. Pearl that is worth the visit. They roast their own meat, make their own sauces and dressings and boil their bagels in a 2 hour process. Closest to NY style we have found. They have some interesting cream cheeses including: chocolate, bacon and scallion and cheesecake! My favorite salad is the #9 consisting of: turkey, ham, Gorgonzola, arugula — which is always fun to say — aroooooogula — asparagus — which is crisp, cold and tastes great. Topped with incredibly savory bacon and brie croutons — you had me at bacon… We also had a sample salad that was made up of mixed field greens, tender, nicely seasoned jerk chicken, on top of a zucchini round with croutons and a side of pineapple sorbet that was to die for. The hubby likes to make his own custom panini which you can choose from a list of different proteins, veggies, sauces/dressings and cheeses. We did not have room for the liquid nitrogen ice cream which you create using over 10K flavor combinations! Sounds outrageous and fun. Best of all they deliver — including pints of ice cream which we will have to try very soon. Exposed brick with a back patio and a garage door this is a quintessential neighborhood joint.

I’m not a player, I just CRUSH a lot! The Crushery is the special gem of South Pearl Street because the service is really genuine and adds to a quality experience. The place has individual character, a friendly vibe, and new comedian guests entertaining every Thursday afternoon. The bagel sammies are good– especially for the prices! I got a fully loaded sandwich for half of the price($ 4) that I’ve paid at other bagel shops. They also offer a nice selection of other dishes. But what I’m REALLY crushing on is their LIQUID-NITROGENPROCESSEDICECREAM! The Crushery will allow you to design your own custom ice cream, which they make with an electric mixer and liquid nitrogen. Not only is it fun to watch, it’s also fun to assemble your own ice cream for the same(if not less) price as a regular parlor(they’re generous with the servings). The ice creams have FOUR different base options: REGULAR ice cream, VEGAN, YOGURT, and SUGAR-FREE! You add a base flavor(e.g. chocolate, vanilla) and choose up to three toppings, which includes frilly flavors like lavender to good ol’ Oreo cookies. My trip included a taste of the regular, vegan, and yogurt – they were all EQUALLY creamy! If you are ordering the vegan base, be wary of the mild coconut flavor(from the milk) when choosing your mix-ins. Also, I didn’t see any ice cream cones– otherwise, two thumbs up!

Today I had the(huge) rye bagel with honey & almond cream cheese. To date, the only time I’ve had this topper was at Einstein’s and I’ve enjoyed the slightly sweet addition to the carb fest. Well, E’s better watch out because there is a new honey & almond topping in town and it is prepared to battle. Why? Wellllllll, this one is cream cheese that appears to have some honey concoction drizzled over it and is then topped with almond slivers. Yes, that is right, real slivers. All this goodness for under $ 3. I appreciate the nice addition of the bench seating, even if the backs are at a 90 degree angle and not totally comfy. Slouching is recommended!

April fools I guess the joke was on me. Decided to try somewhere different and let the boyfriend chose. That was the first mistake. Both of us had the number six on a jalapeño bagel. Nothing was spicy the chorizo or chilies. Doesn’t seem to have any salt or pepper. All in all the sandwiches were eh. Nothing stood out. Disappointed :(

The Crushery is a great casual place to eat on South Pearl St. I live within walking distance and go here pretty frequently, there’s plenty of variety and something for everyone. While their while menu is worth exploring, the nitrogen infused ice cream stands out. i have no idea how they make it, but it’s delicious. my suggestion is to go simple, 2 – 3 ingredients max. they also have great homemade spice/seasonings available.

The perils of finding lunch. You get hungry, you are in unfamiliar territory of SoDo on Pearl, but where to eat!!! You can spend tons of dough at some fancy sit down joint or you can be real and get some good food for a good price! I didn’t realize how much there is to choose from, so I ended up getting a big’o’salad that I made, plus some super good green chili. It was so big in fact, that it lasted for two meals! Yummy!!! I really liked the service and the bathroom was quite clean too. I got the food to go, but could have easily stayed and had lunch by the fireplace and sat down with a loaner book. I’ll be sampling some more of the menu in the future to up that 4 star to a 5 star… and how!!!

Yum! Pastrami and melted cheese? Are you kidding me? As soon as I saw the hot pastrami on the menu, I knew I would love this place. The décor has that old house kind of vibe, which is very conducive to digesting 1000 calories packed in cheese grease and butter. The prices were great and the service was excellent mainly because there isn’t much service to be had. As a general rule, if you make delicious food, just leave the customers alone to drown in their own extasy. Kudos to the Crushery staff for letting me do just that. For the summer, it looks like they have the ability to open the front for a nice fresh air experience. I’m excited to go back!

Short & Sweet: Service: 5 Food: 5 Wait time: 5 Price: 5 Cleanliness of bathroom: N/A Wi-fi: N/A In Prose: Can I give a place 5 stars after having had a couple of bagels? I mean, how do you mess up bagels. Regardless, here are 5 stars for The Crushery. It was my second time visiting the place; the second because I remembered the deliciousness of my bagel after the first visit and made it a point to return. The key to the great cinnamon raisin bagel I had was the cinnamon raisin spread they give in addition to the cream cheese. It must be a sweetened cinnamon raisin preserve of some sort. Or it might be crack, because the bagel + light layer of cream cheese + raisin spread was fucking delicious. However, it seems that The Crushery is known for the frozen nitrogen ice cream, made fresh and to-order. I have yet to try this, but rest assured, I’ll be back!(said in Terminator voice).

Sooo I’ve already been here twice within the last week and a half, which should tell you how much I like this place… I first went here last Sunday with my boyfriend, which was a ton of fun. We went during the Farmer’s Market, and the Crushery opened up its doors and had lots of outdoor seating, which we took advantage of so we could see the market. He ordered the breakfast burrito, which he really liked, although he said the spicy sauce could have been spicier. I ordered a wheat bagel with strawberry cream cheese, and it was really good. No Einstein’s bagel, but still decent. We also got an orange juice to split, and our bill came out to be really reasonable. For the atmosphere, the price, and the quality of food, this place is awesome. Can’t beat the location! The second time I went was with a good friend before a full day of shopping. We both ordered a panini, and we loved them. Stuffed full of vegetables and cheese, and super good. I thought it was a little too greasy for my liking, and therefore is marked down a star. Other than that, it was well cooked and oozed yummy cheese. We also had left overs for lunch/dinner later that night! Can’t beat that! Haven’t gotten a chance to order ice cream from them yet, but I’m looking forward to it when the weather warms up!

I am crushin on the Crushery! This is a great place to sit down or take home breakfast or lunch. It’s on the lovely South Peal Street all tucked in nice and neat. There are 2 patios, 1 out front and 1 out back. The front is all open and airy inside too, so it feels like you are out on the patio. The atmosphere is super relaxed. The service is super friendly and consistent. The menu is quite expansive. The first time to The Crushery I think I stood in front of it just staring at it for quite time trying to decide what to order! Bagels, Panini, Salad, Build Your Own and Stuffed Pound Cake! How’s a girl ever to decide! So far I’ve had panini and bagels. My favorite panini is the número uno. Pork & Bacon with Green Chili all crushed on perfect panini bread with gooey Queso Fresco and Chipotle Aioli. Fan-freakin-tastic. My favorite bagel has to be Arugula, Brie, Caramelized Onion with Spinach added on. The bagels, too, get a good crush which also makes them all warm and gooey, which makes for a happy girl! There is so much to choose from at the Crushery, and with the Build Your Own, the possibilities are endless. I will be back over and over to keep trying new things. You can keep going back to The Crushery too because it is very affordable.

I literally ran in here to grab a sandwich on my way to work and I was very impressed. Not having time to make my own, I ordered one of the combinations posted on the menu and really enjoyed it. Not only was it filling(what I needed before a 10 hour shift) but extremely flavorful. Had I not been in such a hurry I would have sat on the covered patio and ordered a drink or two. A good place to grab and go or sit and enjoy, definitely one of the top sandwich and bagel places I have found in Denver. I plan on going back sometime when I don’t have to inhale my food.

I love this place! I worked at the Pearl St. Farmer’s Market all summer, and every market i would pop over to the Crushery for lunch. While i have a favorite(the #1, pork with green chilies, yum!), they would always suggest the day’s special and it always sounded too good to pass up. Nearly every time, it was an amazing sandwich. Plus they would deliver it to my stall across the street from them. Great service, great sandwiches. Oh, and don’t pass the stuffed brownies. Although they may be 5000 calories, they are 5000 calories of pure joy!

I really like this joint, and I’m sure they had no idea Crush-a-lot would be dining at the Crushery and would require bacon. I had the best panini — perfectly toasted. The #1 which usually includes pork, but they gladly traded out the pork and added spinach and tomatoes for an on the fly BLT with green chilies and whatever else that spicy, deliciousness was. It was the bomb-diggity. The seating is a bit odd, and I didn’t like it, I loved it. There were quite a few two-tops, a couplw places for lounging(deep chairs with side tables), and large tables for the open front seating at street level. As you make your way to the back — BAM! outdoor patio which was great on a day like today when the sun was shining, it’s friday, and I didn’t have shit to do. Did I mention the staff was awesome?
