An entire building of non-​profits can either inspire you or scare your wallet out of your pocket, either way, The Alliance for Sustainable Colorado is a pretty nifty organization that not only rents out their downtown LEED Certified building to non-​profit organizations, but also offers conference rooms and meeting spaces for non tenants to rent out.
Some of the non-​profit tenants include: The Colorado Conservation Voters Education Fund, Colorado Public Interest Research Group (CoPIRG), Co-​op America, Just Media Fund,
and the Sierra Club among others.
Plopping all of these social, economic, and environmentally conscious organizations together creates support and positive energy for all of the organizations in the building. This common goal allows the organizations to continue to grow and prosper with more internal support then they would get if their office was elsewhere, say from home, or in a large commercial building.
