I purchased a Groupon deal for 2 facial Treatments and paid for the 3rd. She told me it would take 7 sessions to see the results I’m looking for. I did start seeing the results I was looking for after 3 treatments, however after my 3rd treatment I did agree to the 4 remaining treatments of which she charged me $ 800.00(not the $ 700.00 which was disclosed to me on my first visit, she told me that all my future treatments would be $ 175.00 with her so called special discount) this amount was pre-paid by the way and the appointments were scheduled. I then came into a financial situation to where I needed the money for necessities rather than these treatments.(I was planning in returning to her later in the year) So in an effort to receive a refund of the $ 800.00 for services I’m unable to do I’ve now tried emailing her from her website which does not seem to function and I’ve been calling her for 2 weeks, with no answer(she has NO voice mail option). She finally picked up the phone yesterday and quickly brushed me off saying she was with a customer(then why answer the phone– I thought to myself) and she hung up on me. I called her again today to try and explain my situation and to see how to proceed further, she did answer the phone and she told me that the $ 800.00 was for the first 3 series of my treatments and then quickly and rudely said, my book keeper is in next week and I’m with a customer right now(again then why even answer the phone) and abruptly hung up on me AGAIN. It appears that she does not not truly know what she is doing nor have the dignity to treat people with respect or compassion that she so proudly advertises on her websites, Advanced Skin and Body and Tamarac Wellness . I’m extremely concerned I may never see my $ 800.00 again. I HIGHLY recommend you don’t throw your money away to her and these companies, there are way to many other quality skin care treatment centers out there that truly care about their customers. Groupon will also be getting an update of this and hopefully they will not be allowing her to adverse with them in the future.

Dr Rita Cummings is a joke. She puts on this fasade about how compassionate she is and what not, but it all just comes down to money. I always paid with cash at the time of the appointment, $ 55 was what she told me it was going to cost so i paid that every single time i went in, i never missed a day and was never late. I saw her once to twice a week for six months without improvement. At the beginning of December she told me i owed her several hundred dollars for back pay and that i needed to pay if off within two weeks. She quoted me $ 55 a visit but she hid the fact that i would actually have to pay $ 85 a visit! An extra $ 30 per visit really adds up. Needless to say we were unable to have a Christmas because of her demands and incessant calling in those two weeks but not once did she ask how i was or how my back was doing. I dont understand how anyone could have that low of an integrity! Heres a side note about her: She offers her clients a 15% discount if they write a good review for her! Thats disgusting.
