In my search for the best tacos in Denver, I stopped in here. First off, these are very small tacos but they are only 99 cents each too. Fair enough. Tacos are 60 cents on Miercoles, so an even better deal. I had the chorizo tacos(would not order again), the buche tacos(decent enough) and the cabeza tacos(not bad either). The salsa bar is rather sparse with 3 salsas, radishes and limes. Their horchata was very good and $ 2.00 gets you a large with refills for $ 0.75. Decent tacos at a good price. Not worth a special trip, but if you are in the area and are looking for a new place to try, it is good enough. Come on Miercoles(Wednesday) for the best deal.

First off, this place is HUGE. Like used to be a supermarket huge. I’ve only ventured here in the daylight when we’ve been the only people in the place, but I can’t imagine what goes on here during busy hours to merit such an expanse of square footage. The tacos are okay. Kind of on par with your generic taco truck. They do have an impressive array of Mexican pastries and the much-beloved Mexican coke(no high-fructose corn syrup here). They have a salsa bar with the predictable pico de gallo, red, and tomatillo as well as limes, etc. Tacos y Salsas has a better selection by far. If you are into the exotic, you may enjoy their brain, tripe, and tongue tacos. While their food is very cheap, their portion sizes are small and you’ll find yourself consuming six tacos without another thought. Bonus: You can play terminator and some other arcade games from the 80’s in their back room! Bottom Line: Denver is blessed with hundreds of great places that serve great tacos at great prices. This shouldn’t be one of them.
