Sway Salon

I’ve been looking for a new salon and stylist since moving to CO. I walked past Sway and after looking at Unilocal reviews decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! Jessica was not only fun to talk to (my last stylist never talked) but took the time to get my long layers and bangs just right. I absolutely love what she did to my hair! Another plus; a super hip, friendly atmosphere!

Jesi is fabulous and I really, really like going to her. She never rushes me and took the time that was needed in the first couple of cuts to really figure out the best way to cut my thin but curly hair and achieve the look I wanted. She really listens to me and makes sure I am satisfied. Btw, I found her by asking a girl in the mall who gave her curly hair such a great cut. :)

I just wanted to give a shout out to sway salon. I followed my stylist Stephanie from A very popular salon in Bonnie Brae. Everyone is so friendly, The salon is smaller but has an amazing atmosphere I love being there, they make me feel like part of the family. LOL, they’ll even run across the street to get you food if you haven’t eaten now that’s service! But most importantly, is my girl Stephanie she is got to be one of the top in Denver for blondes, go see her for your color no regrets!

You won’t go wrong. What I love about this salon is how all of the employees get along, the edgy space (very cool), and the skill level of each stylist. I’m so happy that my friend recommended this salon because I no longer feel anxiety about getting my hair cut and highlighted! I love my hair now.

I got an insider tip about getting a haircut with Daniel at Sway Salon. I was told that it would be the best haircut I’ve ever had. I’m not much of a salon haircut type of guy, but I was in desperate need of a good haircut after some hack who claimed to work at a salon completely butchered my hair. When I arrived at the salon for my scheduled appointment, I was welcomed with the sights, sounds, smells of a busy hair salon. There were some fine looking women, but one lovely lady went out of her way to make me feel welcome. She checked me in and told me that Daniel would be with me shortly. She proceeded to offer me water, coffee, soda and her first born child. She was very friendly… You get the idea. She chatted with me for a little bit and I learned that she was from San Diego, which everyone knows is German for a whale’s vagina. When it was time to get my hairs cut, I told Daniel that I wanted something simple and sexy. I closed my eyes and the next thing I knew, all those fine looking women were crowding around to check me out. One of the women had her dog there with her, and even the dog came over to sniff my butt. I must admit, that haircut did make me look pretty fly… for a white guy. Before leaving, I got scheduled for a complimentary cleanup cut. Three weeks later, I returned to the scene of the crime and essentially got a free haircut. I insisted on giving Daniel a tip, but just the tip, since it was complimentary.

Andrea is one of my barre teachers, and she just has such a fun, upbeat personality. Her hair always looks fabulous. When I learned she was a hairdresser, I wanted to get in and see her. She gave a great cut, and I was really impressed with the Oribe products at the salon. Sway Salon is a hip, fun spot that was very inviting. The staff was so friendly. I look forward to going back!

It’s been several years, it seems, since I’ve found someone who can cut side bangs *and* do fabulous color! Sara took me from blonde highlights to a vibrant red with a sassy cut to match. I’ve definitely found my «hair» home. :)

Andrea De La Garza is a fantastic stylist and colorist. I have been going to her for a little more than three years. I followed her from another salon and I really like the hip style of the location. Andrea is fantastic at any shade of blonde, and I have been many of them. My color always looks natural and full of depth. She also gives a great cut. I always get tons of compliments on my hair after leaving the salon. Andrea is terrific!

I moved to Colorado 4 years ago and was recommended to go to Andrea for my color. She does the BEST color EVER! It is amazing how I briefly tell her what I want and she does exactly what I want. She is amazing. I highly recommend to get Andrea to do your color

Love love love Ms Andrea De La Garza! She has been creating the most beautiful color jobs for me, for years! I highly recommend you get to sway and go see Ms Andrea!

I’ve been coming here for years and the upgrade and overhaul of salon 55 to Sway Salon is fantastic! Jacque is impeccable with cut and color and the staff in general is warm and welcoming. Great environment with great stylists!
