Painfully slow service and usually really a mess around the sugar and milk. Need more people to facilitate some speed and clean. Big, new, and modern

Went in to have a nice glass of Pinot Noir at Starbucks and fainted at the $ 10 to $ 12 price. Wow in Chicago River North it is around $ 5. I can go to Piati or Hillstone and have an infinitely better experience for $ 10. Come on Starbucks I just want to have a nice $ 5 glass of wine on a Wednesday night. Way too much! If you have this high price too long, it will become a forgotten spot for drinks. Get us in AND then jack the price.

FANCY. I’d expect some class in any Starbucks branch in Cherry Creek, but this one takes the cake. The architecture is sleek and modern, there are large windows letting in an abundance of natural light, and there is a huge fireplace dividing the large seating area. There’s even a bar-like area right up against their Clover machine.(I recently finished reading Onward– a book by the Starbucks CEO who revived Starbucks after it began to decline in 2008, and one highlight of the book was the importance of these Clover machines, low enough for baristas to have a conversation with a customer while preparing their drink of choice.) I much prefer this location to the one on 2nd& Fillmore. The service here seems to be much faster.

I love the new store! Granted — upon arrival I was super confused because I had no idea they’d relocated from their other older CC location. I’ve been using the mobile order lately and have been loving it. My drink is always perfect and ready when I walk in. This place was no exception, and relatively empty for a 7:30 am weekday.

OMG! A grand opening with Victoria’s Secret models as baristas! See my pictures! OK, I was just kidding but Starbucks reviews can be so boring. I needed to shake things up a bit. Fellow Unilocaler John V. said it best. Starbucks are ubiquitous. However, they really have their act together when it comes to opening new locations and this one is no exception. As expected, the construction and décor fits perfectly into this Cherry Creek neighborhood. It’s quite large and includes a seriously big patio. Other than that, a Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks. I almost always have a fine experience as I did here last weekend. BTW– Did you hear Starbucks Mobile has arrived in Denver? You can preorder and prepay for your drinks from your Starbucks App and just pick them up when you arrive. When it’s busy you can completely bypass the line! iPhone only at the moment but Android is coming. Nice!

You were probably thinking that the world could use just one more Starbucks, especially in Cherry Creek North. OK, maybe you weren’t thinking that. This ubiquitous and often derided coffee chain just got a bit bigger with their new store on the southeast corner of 3rd and Columbine. What you’ll find at this new location is a lot more space than the now closed 3rd and Clayton location, which this store replaces. The interior is pleasant, in that corporate, banal kind of way, with numerous seating options from the usual table and chairs to communal seating next to the Clover brewing machine. The color palate is of muted browns and the stacked stone fireplace adds texture and divides the large room in two. Large windows allow plenty of Colorado sunshine in and serve as a connection to the extensive patio and the activity of the Cherry Creek neighborhood. The coffee, it’s the same as any other Starbucks.
