Starbucks

Fast, friendly service and they have the Clover machine!
This store offers the pre-​order service but I have not tried it, yet.

Being a Gold Member (and purchasing annually over $ 1k of drinks), I do not appreciate getting haggled about ordering a refill. Multiple times have I been in the lobby for 3+ hours, and I go to the counter to order a refill of iced coffee, and the barista reminds me that I can only qualify for a refill if I have been «in the lobby!» Get your priorities straight.
I must say, I do appreciate that they have Google wifi here at this location.

Standard Starbucks, nothing special about this one.

I’m so glad this little coffee shop is here. I just discovered it. I feel like I need to get the word out about this place before it goes «corporate.»
They have coffee, pastries, some other food, and lots of mugs and tumblers.
Everybody in there seemed like they had been there before and knew the secret language about how to order. There is no small, medium, and large. It’s something completely arbitrary, but everybody has bought into it. The guy in front of me ordered something that sounded like a Shakespearean soliloquy that lasted about a minute and a half then the barista handed him a medium coffee. It’s like a foreign language of coffee, but somehow, everybody has learned the language.
I love trying new places before too many people have jumped on the bandwagon. This place called Starbucks (I think that’s the owner’s dog’s name) is that place. I hope they consider putting in more locations so I can have one by my house, my gym’s entrance, my gym’s exit, my bank, my ATM, my parking garage, my son’s school, the playground next to my son’s school, etc…

Yeah, it’s a Starbucks. Probably my least favorite in the Downtown area, this place always seems to have a line. I may stand in line or I may shell out $ 5 for a fu-​fu coffee but I’ll pass on getting to do both.
