Single Volunteers of Greater Denver

I joined this group last spring because I wanted to do something new and fun that was good for the community, and, maybe, meet some interesting people. I didn’t receive any communication, but I regularly visited the website. In the late spring/​early summer I saw a new volunteer orientation, so I attended. At that event they asked me if I was receiving emails, and, when I said I wasn’t, they added me to the distribution list.
Still no emails… I contacted them on their website and they said they had no record of my registration. So, I sent them confirmation that my bank account had indeed been charged when I registered to be a member. It has been over a week since I sent that and I haven’t gotten so much as an email. Really?!
Very disappointing that a service organization would treat volunteers this way. Particularly since one of the topics discussed at orientation was being a courteous volunteer. I commend them on their volunteer orientation. It was great, but the service after the sale leaves a lot to be desired.
