One of the new spaces for Samadhi, which now has three studio locations in Denver. This location is across the street from Rocky Mountain PBS downtown. At night, there is a nice amount of parking available for free on the street. This is a very large space upstairs in a building that has several other tenants. I love that there is a large area for check-in with sofas, cushions, and rugs that make the area very welcoming and reminiscent of the original location of Samadhi. There is also a large mural on the wall, like all of the other Samadhi studio spaces. The only weird part of this space is that there is a pole dancing studio directly downstairs from Samadhi. They can get very loud and while I know pole dancing can be a great workout for your core too, the pole dancing music and people at that studio can be quite loud at times. This can really test your ability to focus and be mindful in your practice, especially during Shavasana. Luckily, my first class here was a David Bowie inspired class with a wonderful playlist, and most of the music was played pretty loudly, which helped to drown out some of the pole dancing excitement from downstairs.
