Nice and clean. Found everything. A little busy since everyone was buying flowers but they got more staff to help out

Just your run of the mill, older Safeway. Nothing particularly bad or good about this one — if you’re closer, I’d recommend the King Soopers near Sheridan and Dartmouth since it’s larger, cleaner, and seems to stock fresher food. The lack of self checkout is pretty annoying, since it only seems like one or two checkstands are ever open.

OK, this store is old. There isn’t a self check-out here, which can be annoying. The general state of the building structure itself isn’t perfect, but the store is kept as clean as possible. Maybe because this is an older store, it’s hardly as busy as the King Soopers in the area. It’s always nice and calm when we come here, and the produce section is gorgeous. Use the time you spend waiting in line to pay as a meditation period.

Things have changed. Not sure that I ever visited the store that Rachel did and I have been going here for eight years. It is an older store, but, the quality of food is very good. I would not come here for seafood, hell, I am hard pushed to buy fresh seafood in Colorado. For your everyday grocery needs, this store has it all.

Some days you just kind of hate life. I realized many of these days happened to coincide with when I shopped at this Safeway. This Safeway is very old, and it certainly shows. The floor is often stained, and during their remodel(which has been going on from August ’08 through at least Nov ’08) the floor has been ripped out in many parts, with creepy wood to show underneath. Once I(stupidly) bought some mussels from their seafood counter, when the lady assured me they were fresh. It wasn’t until I brought them home and opened the grocery sack that their stank overwhelmed me, and I saw they had all gone bad. Yuck! The produce section pretty much consists of lettuce, apples, oranges and bananas. I couldn’t buy a shallot unless I opted to purchase the three pound bag of them! With the exception of the nice store manager, the help seems to also hate life and it definitely shows. The Safeway patrons here seem to similarly hate life(maybe it’s the especially bad neon lighting, or the scary lady behind the deli counter). I’ve learned my lesson and will make the 12 minute drive to Whole Foods or the 19 minute drive to Sunflower.
